rubber ducky cake

rubber ducky cake

I made this cake for my friend's baby shower

Date Posted: Sep. 25, 2013

Photography Notes: I baked a double layer 10" cake and a 6" double layer cake. The cake was for a boy, so I added some blue to the white cake mix in the smaller cake, so I kinda looked like the tub was full of water. I always try to add a specail icing in the middle of the cakes to give it a little extra taste. I have found that perserves mixed in with homemade icings works great. Some work well with cream chease, others just need a base flavor because it is a strong flavor. I don't remember what i put in the middle of this one.
