About this Cook
I LOOOOOVE to cook and a total foodie.I'm originally from Brooklyn,NY. I currently live in Tokyo, Japan.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts. I must confess I have a really sweet tooth!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am of Puerto Rican heritage, so my favorite cooking tradition is to make pernil(roast pork) and arroz con gandules (yellow rice and green peas).
My cooking triumphs
Baking an Italian cheesecake a week ago. Not easy to find ricotta and marscapone cheese in Japan.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 17, I was learning to cook and I was so proud how my fried chicken turned out ,so beautifully brown and crispy, but horrified to see it was pink and raw inside :(

Cinnamon Rolls III
Absolutely fabulous! I was a little nervous at first because I have never made cinnamon buns before. But my goodness, this recipe is worth the work and wait. I did use the bread maker ,dough mixing, method and I did use a complete package of cream cheese. The rest is the same. Try it, you won't be sorry! Thank you for the recipe (^_^)

Carolyn's Oh-So-Easy Cherry Cobbler
Easy to make and followed the advice of one poster to use almond extract and Bisquick. Turned out awesome, will make again!
