Loved this recipe. Only thing I changed was added a tbsp of sugar to add a bit of sweetness. I'll be making it again.

This is an excellent marinade..It's simple, and made with things that are already on hand. I make it just like the recipe states and enjoy it time and again.

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
This is my 2nd time reviewing this recipe, and it is so good. Did as others suggested and made the Chicken in the crock pot. I also changed it up a bit by layering everything(2 layers) instead of rolling the tortillas, and it made a wonderful enchilada casserole. So good and easy, by far one of our favorites. This is an excellent recipe. My family loved eating this, it also make's great leftover's. First time I did this recipe I used Hamburger, so this recipe is pretty easy to swap around. Enjoy

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
I doubled this recipe by adding a lb of ground turkey. My husband isn't big on onion so we omitted the sliced onion. However I did add a bit of minced dried onion to the burger. Didn't have the sherry so made it w/o & tripled the gravy. Very good and well liked

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
This was excellent. Made just a few changes to use what I had on hand. Instead of water I used 2 cups French onion Broth and poured this over the roast. Didn't use celery, but used celery salt, and misc other seasoning to season the meat. I didn't have bouillon cubes, but did have the beef broth powder so I sprinkled this over the roast. I had no Fresh onion, but dried diced onion, and Garlic..So used this both in place of fresh..End results were a perfect roast, I'd say one of my best. This recipe can easily be modified and still taste delicious.

This is so good and tasty..my family thinks it's Excellent. I didn't have the cornflakes so made it without, also only half the sour cream, and 3 tbls of butter. Still fantastic, in the future I will make it with the cornflakes to see what were missing.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
MM MM GOOD. Gr8 recipe, one I will make again and again. I used a cream of Chicken & Mushroom for the base, 3 large frozen chicken breast, covered with water and added a large chicken bouillon cube. Seasoned with parsley, salt & pepper, dried minced onion & garlic. Cooked high for about 3.5 hrs. Added a can of corn, frozen peas & carrots, and added the can of biscuits, continued cooking for 90 min. Shredded my chicken, but before adding it back to the crock pot I thickened the broth up with some cornstarch and water. It was so good and Yummy. Only thing I would do different next time is make my own drop dumplings, as someone else posted here the dumplings are more like a noodle then a true dumpling. Other then that it was all good and worth the 5 stars. After a afternoon in the rain at the pumpkin patch this was such a comfort to come home to.

Navy Bean Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
Excellent and worth my 5 stars. I only made a few minor changes. I soaked the beans over night. I didn't have onion so I used dried minced onion. No celery so I used dried celery seed. I didn't add the parsley, or garlic powder. I used 3 Ham hocks, a cup of carrots, and 8 cups of water..It was very delish and a recipe I will certainly make again.

Southern Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
I've been using this recipe for several years now, it's my go to for pulled pork. I DO NOT always brown my meat before placing in the crock pot, it really depends on how busy I'am that day. Both methods work well and give excellent results. When it's done we just pull the meat apart and add whatever sauce/condiments we desire..Very Tasty.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
I thought this was excellent, I made slight alterations. I added a can of condensed cream of chicken soup, as well as roasted chicken, not canned. I also added some taco seasoning, with these slight tweaks I thought it was a wonderful tasty soup. I topped with tortilla chips, and shredded cheese..so delish, and quick & easy..It doesn't get any better.

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
I hadn't had this since I was a kid and boy did it bring back some memories of my grandmothers kitchen. Quick and easy but I used budding brand meat that is used for sandwiches and cut it up to add it. Great meal when in a pinch, or just wanting something quick and satisfying.

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
I made this for a potluck and everyone enjoyed it. After reading thru reviews I did make a few suggested alterations. 1. Added a packet of Onion soup mix. Omitted salt and pepper. 2. Beat egg and milk together and soaked the bread crumbs in this. 3. 2 cups of Colby/Jack cheese blend(shredded) 4. Mixed ketchup and bbq sauce together for the top coating. 5. Divided and made into 2 loaves and baked in a 13x9 inch pan. It was wonderful, and I will be making this again very soon. Thanks for the gr8 recipe.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2012
We used this recipe tonight for Christmas on a 7 lb turkey breast. It was so incredible moist & delicious, and I'm not a big fan of white meat but this recipe won me over. I stuffed the turkey cavity with fresh rosemary & onion, used only 1/4 cup oil herbs blend. Placed turkey breast side down the first hour, Turned out Perfect. I'm so happy I tried this recipe..Cant wait to try this with roasted chicken, and of course Turkey again.

Hamburger Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
Very good recipe. At first I was concerned cause it seemed a bit sweet with the Pork&Beans..But It was so very good. I didn't follow the recipe to the tee, in place of the water I used beef broth. I didn't use potatoes, but used frozen pea's and carrots & frozen corn. I also added Elbow noodles. No tomatoe soup, but in its place stew tomatoes, and a can of tomatoe sauce. I browned my meat with dried minced garlic & Onion. Anyway the hamburger stew makes a excellent base soup, and give's you your own options of add in's. I also wanted to note here that I made mine in the slow cooker.
