Perfect Sushi Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
I don't use quite as much rice vinegar, and I use a lil more sugar, but this is the real deal for those who are new to making sushi at home.

Japanese-Style Grilled Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
I don't see why these aren't getting better ratings. The seasoning you put on these mushrooms are to suit your palette anyway. If you are not much on sesame seed oil, go light on it, or not at all. Be sure to broil on low, as well. Otherwise, great shrooms!!!

Vinegar Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2011
I got 4 dzn out of this recipe. I did not use nuts, and I added a tsp of vanilla to the recipe. They are good, but quickly will turn hard after taking out of the oven as they cool. Still a good cookie overall. Great for a budget or those who are needing to watch allergies.

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
First off, my modifications: 1) substituted whole milk for the 2%. 2) used mint extract instead of peppermint. The underlying vanilla recipe is really the crown of this recipe. It is good just by itself, or great to add flavor too! The mint chocolate chip is absolutely the best!!! Ask most people, and they will tell you that vanilla, chocolate, or mint chocolate chip is their favorite. This recipe basically gives you all three... Thanks for sharing!!!

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2007
Extremely good and recommended. I have never made calzones before, and this was really easy. I took the suggestion, and added artichoke hearts as suggested by another. Also great leftover. Will make again.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
These cookies are okay. They are not as soft as I would like them to be. I do not use this recipe anymore. If you are looking for semi hard, but still moist cookies, this is a great recipe.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
Best cookies I have made, hands down! I make this recipe about once a week for my family. Suggestion for those doing this recipe the first time: for the softest cookies, use JUMBO EGGS. Some variations I have done: White chocolate and makadamia (sp?) nut, and M&Ms instead of chocolate. Just make sure you use the JUMBO EGGS and people will think you are a God when it comes to making cookies. This recipe is super easy!

Ranch Style Oyster Crackers

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2005
When I was a child, my grandfather used to make this recipe. I never knew the exact recipe he used when I was a child, but this recipe tastes the exact same. My children love this snack, year round. So easy to make, and yet so tastey! :)

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2005
We have made this bread recipe several times in our family. Very moist, very tastey! If you have not made this yet, you MUST. The hardest part for me is dividing it out into 6 equal parts. A must try!!!! I use this recipe to make the bread we use in our Church's Sacrament service each week. Its gets rave reviews always.
