Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
The holy grail of banana muffin recipes! These were absolutely fantatic, moist and easy, and I love the crumb topping. We ate all 12 muffins in one day- oink! :-)

Bermuda Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2006
Absolutely the best dressing!! You could probably cut the sugar a bit- we like a sweet dressing, though. For those people who thought the onion flavor was too strong, perhaps you used red onion. If you use a sweet white onion, like Bermuda or Maui, it is divine.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2005
This was a little sweet for my taste, very good, but sweet. I give it 5 stars because I brought it to a large potluck, and I had several people tell me it was the best macaroni salad they ever had.

Asian Coleslaw

Delicious! I added some sesame oil and toasted, slivered onions. It was a huge hit with us- a great pairing with our orange chicken stir fry.

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2005
Absolutely delish! It's a great way to make thick cut pork chops more flavorful, since they tend to be bland no matter how much you spice up the outside. I made exactly as written, and my fiance and I LOVED it.

Huge hit at my holiday party! I added some grated mozzarella and parmesan, because we love cheese. Everyone asked for the recipe. Thanks!

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2006
Fantastic! Such a difference from regular boiled corned beef. And we absolutely loved the cabbage and apples- I carmelized some onions and added a few teaspoons of apple cider vinegar, then added the cabbage, apples and water. Divine!

White Bean Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
I would give this a million stars if I could. I few changes I made: I added a diced poblano chili with the onions and garlic. It added a nice dimension of flavor without being too spicy. I used one can of crushed tomatillos, a can of diced tomato with jalapeno, and one can of regular diced tomatoes. It was over the top delicious!!

This comes together so quick and is absolutely delicious. I've served to company and it is elegant, but also great for a weeknight family dinner.

I can't even believe something this simple is so delicious. We used chicken drumsticks, and the whole family went crazy. I added a touch more curry because we love it. Thank you! We'll make this over and over.

Absolutely, insanely good! I followed the recipe exactly, except I baked it in 2 9" rounds. It was so moist and flavorful, and got raves from my guests.

Ramen Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
Oh, yum!! totally addictive. I used oriental ramen, since that is what I had on hand, and it was delicious. I also toasted my almonds and ramen in a little butter. I would definitely save the noodles and almonds on the side and add right before serving to keep from getting soggy. Total winner! Everyone loves it.

Red River Beef Stroganoff

Really good! I used ground beef, and it was perfect. I did add one tablespoon of grainy mustard, and also a few cloves of chopped garlic. Really nice flavor, though it's not the prettiest dish around. :-)

Margaritas to Die For

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2007
Wow! These are STRONG, but very good. More of a sipping margarita. I used Patron silver, and cut it down to 3/4 of a cup, instead of a full. They were plenty strong, and we like a strong cocktail. Very enjoyable, and will make again and again. Perfect addition to a summer barbeque.

Delicious! I marinated them for about 5 hours, and they were just right. I skipped the taragon, because I didn't have any. Still good!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: May 28, 2006
Just excellent! So simple, and so good. I didn't give 5 stars because I modified slightly- I substituted 4 TB chili powder and 1 tsp cumin for the chili seasoning. I also added a few cloves of chopped garlic with the meat and onion. Yum!
