Marie's Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
Almost a 5 star, other than it is much better with 3/4 cup white and 3/4 cup brown sugar. I also used mini chocolate chips and they were awesome! Family said I was done looking for a great chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Pierogi Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
I don't believe in reviewing recipes if you make major changes, so I followed this recipe exactly. I found it bland, thin, and frankly, odd tasting. Only one person ate a full serving. Maybe doubling the potatoes and adding spices? I don't know, but I won't try again.

Marshmallow Treats

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
I doubled the ingredients, but I didn't change the ratios. I also added 2 tsp milk to the marshmallows just before adding the cereal as some reviewers said. This filled a 9 x 13 dish perfectly. They were the best I have ever made.

Spoiled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
I added 1 tb honey, which made the sauce a bit sweeter for our taste. The sauce was wonderful. I baked the ribs for 10 minutes at 350 and then threw them in a crockpot on low for 5 hours. They were inhaled! Thanks for a great sauce.

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
I omitted the olive oil and used 2 1/2 tablespoons butter. I then added salt and pepper. Simple, yet very tasty. I then added 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese and it was still good, but changed the taste. Either way, 1 tablespoon cheese was plenty.

Chocolate Mousse Cake IV

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
This was fabulous! I just made this for my mother's birthday and people raved! I did not have unsweetened chocolate squares so I substituted 3 tablespoons cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons oil. I also lowered the water to 1/3 of a cup per the other reviews. Otherwise I followed it to the letter and it was outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

Chocolate Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
The only changes I made were to use regular graham crackers and substitute 8 0z of sweet condensed milk for one of the cups of regular milk. The rest of the recipe was exactly as written. Quick and easy. I Took this to a potluck and brought home an empty pan. Thanks.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
This just became one of my family's favorites! I only made a couple of changes. First, I added 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce to the wet ingredients. Next, I added 3/4 tsp salt to the dry ingredients. I baked the cake at 45 minutes exactly and I omitted the icing. The cake was melt-in-your-mouth moist with just the right amount of sweetness.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
This recipe was a great base recipe. The only things that I changed were to sprinkle the chicken with Tony's and then dip in egg before filling and rolling. I also used Italian bread crumbs for more flavor. This tastes great with mozzarella cheese as well.
