Fresh Mozzarella Pasta Salad

I made this recipe as directed initially but like others I felt like it need something extra. I added roasted red pepper dressing and it was delicious, certainly a nice change from the traditional pasta salad. Next time I would use a little more fresh basil.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I have tried these many times now and aside from one time, when I mistakenly doubled the butter, these have always turned out delicious. I follow some other reviews reduced the cook time to 9 minutes MAX.

Summer Anytime Crisp Corn Salad

This is not really a fair rating of this recipe in particular but I found a recipe similiar to this at my local grocery store so I used this as a base for that salad. I added 1 can of drained and rinsed black beans, 1 can of drained and rinsed lima beans, an extra (smaller size) can of corn and whole wheat fusilli noodles. For the sauce I tried the one in this recipe and didn't really care for it so I added about 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup of roasted pepper salad dressing (similiar to italian), very yummy.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Very good, truely no comparison to canned sauce and so easy I can't believe I waited so long to make this. I followed some other reviews and made a big batch of the seasonings and then just a single batch of the sauce. I tried it after 1 TBSP of honey and decided to stick with that. I'm really looking forward to using this as my base for pasta sauce.

Grandma's Noodles II

Being my first time making noodles I was a little skeptical when my dough wasn't coming together like I had hoped I added about 2 tsp more of milk and continued to mix and they actually turned out really good, I don't know if I even needed that extra milk. I used my stand-up mixer to make the dough as well as the noodles. Next time for the dough I will try some other reviewers method of using the food processor. Also, I did not let all of the noodles dry for two hours, I use 1 1/2 Cups for soup after about 30 min of drying. I doubled this recipe and got 3 1/2 Cups of Rigatoni noodles.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

I made this following the recipe exactly the first time. The second time I left out the vegetable broth, added 6 Cups Chicken Stock, 2 Cups water and 2 Cans of Cream of Chicken soup. Also, I added about 2 cloves of minced garlic to the onion at the beginning and I cooked the chicken in the broth for about twenty minutes before removing it to cut it up and then I added it back in at the end and I added peas at the same time as the noodles. For the seasonings the only additions I made were adding 1 tsp of Parsely and 1 tsp of Poultry seasoning. Both times it was very good, just a bit more personalized the second time around.

Best Beef Dip Ever

So good and super easy! I followed some other reviews and used beef broth in place of about 4 cups of water. Next time I will probably go with a little less soy sauce.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

I really liked the flavor of this however I found that the sauce took a very long time to thicken, I'm not sure if maybe I had the heat too low or did something else but I ended up adding more cornstarch and turning the heat up. Very yummy, will make again.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

I have made this one a few times now and always seem to get lots of positive feedback. As per some other reviews I add a little extra jalapenos as well as I mix panko bread crumbs with the parmesan for a crunchy top. Very good!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

I made this recipe as is with only the addition of ground beef and extra spinach, a significant amount of extra spinach actually. I found this to be pretty good however next time I think I will add a little more seasoning.
