My husband is a French Onion Soup aficionado. He craves French Onion Soup every time we go out to a restaurant. I have never tried to make it home until now. I followed the recipe using French bread, Swiss cheese and Asiago cheese. I did sprinkle a little freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top which was not in the recipe. The taste of the broth had a very nice flavor, compliments of the Worcestershire sauce and balsamic vinegar. I might try using a little more Worcestershire next time. My husband really liked it as did our other guests. I would definitely make this recipe again.
