My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

This is excellent; yields a product better than what you can buy, in my family's opinion. I pop the corn using the 'Microwave Popcorn' method found on this site. An easy, wonderful and inexpensive treat!

Unbelievable Chicken

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Use good quality chocolate chips (I use a mix of semi-sweet and milk chocolate Callebaut) and this recipe produces bakery/professional quality cookies. My DH has never been a chocolate chip cookie guy until I starting using this recipe. Thank you for sharing it!

Italian Summer Squash Polenta Bake

A fantastic meatless meal. I made my own polenta, and also followed another reviewer's suggestion to cook the veggies a little more on the stovetop, setting the assembled dish under the broiler to bubble the cheese rather than baking for 30 minutes. We like our veggies a little al dente, and method this was just phenomenal. Will make this again and again!

Creamy Rice Pudding

This is just the recipe I was looking for! Per reviewer suggestion, I used evaporated skim milk. I also opted for Arborio rice, which only enhances the creamy texture of the pudding. Served cold with whipped cream and dusted with cinnamon. So comforting and blissful! Thank you for sharing, Erica!

Cinnamon Ice Cream

This is simply blissful. The only way to improve it is to use Saigon cinnamon (I buy mine at Costco - Kirkland brand). I decreased the sugar to just over 3/4 cup, because I served with fresh Oatmeal Raisin cookies and didn't want the components to overpower one another. Hubby groaned with delight throughout dessert - I'd say it's a keeper! Thank you for sharing!

Kolaches From the Bread Machine

These are so easy and ridiculously good. Only change I made was to add an extra 2 Tbsp of sugar and a tad more water to the dough. Filled with homemade Apple Pie filling and drizzled with Vanilla Glaze (from this site). These will be made often!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Not that this recipe needs another raving review, but I had to throw my two cents in. Truly phenomenal. I used Saigon Cinnamon from Costco, which I think truly gave these rolls some extra pizazz and made them taste professionally made. My cinnamon roll-loving hubby thanks you for posting this recipe!!

Thick Cut-Outs

With the addition of 2 tsp. vanilla & 1 1/2 tsp. almond extracts to this dough, I will never use another sugar cookie recipe. These bake perfectly without spreading (I bake on a parchment lined pan) and taste amazing when decorated with royal icing. It's difficult to convince people you made, not bought them! My husband is by no means a cookie guy, and he can't keep his hands off these. Thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe!

Rosettes I

This is a great, simple recipe that took me back to my childhood. I find you can minimize bubbling if you shake the excess batter off the iron before placing in the oil. I use 365 degree peanut oil and cook between 18 & 25 seconds each, depending on the size/shape of the iron I'm using.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

I can't imagine there is a better cornbread recipe out there - my search is over! Only change to the recipe I made was to I sub skim milk/1 TBSP vinegar for the buttermilk. Thank you for sharing this terrific recipe!

Blackberry Cobbler II

This was the perfect way to end a perfect Father's Day. My husband had requested cobbler for dessert; something I'd never made before. I'm glad I picked this recipe, because it's certainly a winner and a new family favorite. Didn't change a thing, except doubled the dough per other reviewer's suggestions.

Banana Pudding IV

This is too good for words. My father-in-law raved after every bite! I portioned into individual serving ramekins; sprinkled with crumbled vanilla wafers just before serving. Beautiful and delicious! Thanks for sharing this gem!

Frosted Banana Bars

These turned out great! Baked in a 9x13 glass casserole dish for 35 minutes; maybe a tad overdone - will take out at 30 minutes next time. Topped with 'Cream Cheese Frosting II' from this site. Will definitely be our standby recipe when there are bananas to be used up!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

This is the best consistency Sugar Cookie dough I think I've worked with. I used 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp creme bouquet; wonderful flavor result. I rolled the cookies 1/4 in thick using powdered sugar as my non-stick agent. Baked 8 minutes and they were perfect!

Deep Dish Brownies

What an awesome, easy recipe. I utilized the same changes as other reviewers (eggs, baking powder and more cocoa). I made the 8x8 recipe and baked for 35 minutes. During last 5 minutes I topped with mini chocolate chips, toasted chopped pecans, sea salt & caramel sauce I made (Trader Joe's Fleur de Sel caramels melted with a splash of whipping cream). They cut like a dream when cooled. A gourmet dessert in under an hour; how can you beat that?! Thanks for sharing this gem!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

I will never buy another frozen pumpkin pie again! Based on the suggestions of prior reviewers, I used 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice plus one teaspoon of cinnamon. Before filling the crust, I also brushed with egg white mixed with a little water to prevent sogginess. This will be a new tradition in our home.

Cherry Bourbon Balls
