I am a fifty-three year old seasoned woman living in New England. I used to cook as a young child, inventing uses for food with my mother in her kitchen. I drifted away from cuisine until about six years ago when this much loved activity became a part of my life again.

Although I am a true meat eater I like finding new uses for vegetables. My favortie seasonings are tarragon and basil, especially in combination with each other.

I like to make foods that are quick and easy which kept my mother cooking nightly all those years with few vacations.

My cooking triumphs would be in the planning. Nothing is wasted or thrown away.
My cooking tragedies
Tragically, I cannot bake despite many an attempt. I do not understand this as my sister is an exellent baker.
