Caprese Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2015
My husband really loved this. I just chopped up the fresh basil and stirred it into the parmesan cheese mixture rather than using my food processor.

Spinach Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2015
This was delicious. I was surprised that my picky family loved it. I read thru some of the reviews and read where the submitter of the recipe actually uses 1 cup of uncooked rice so thats what I did too. I used one cup and adjusted the amount of liquid. It made just enough without having any leftover.

Spicy Spanish-Style Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2015
This is very good and also very spicy just like the title says. I left out the jalapeno peppers and it was still very spicy. I had to keep adding more liquid to it to keep it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. This really does make a big batch of rice. Next time I will cut the recipe in half.

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2015
I substituted mini chocolate chips in place of the walnuts and baked these in muffin tins for about 20 minutes. I topped these off with peanut butter frosting recipe from this site and sprinkled some chocolate chips on top. Super yummy!

French Toast Stars

Reviewed: May 30, 2015
These were really cute! I used thick Texas toast and they were delicious. I ended up making croutons with the leftover scraps of bread. I made these for Memorial day breakfast and I plan on making these again for Fourth of July.

Quick Italian Pasta Salad

My family really liked this. Like a lot of reviewers I only used one packet of Italian seasoning and that combined with salad dressing was very flavorful. The tri-colored pasta and all the additions made it look very appealing and also taste great!

Stuffed French Toast II

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2015
Super yummy french toast and also super sweet! This is almost more like a dessert than a breakfast. But it was very good. I used what I had on hand and used strawberry jelly. I also used Pepperidge farm strawberry swirl bread. It was so sweet on its own that no syrup was even needed.
