Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2013
This was a great recipe for pork chops. Not too hard to put together and pretty easy to cook. Good for a week night. My husband (who previously thought Shake and Bake was the best way to make pork chops) LOVED this recipe.

Beef and Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2013
Easy and tasty. Followed the recipe and the skillet is empty indicating a meal enjoyed by kids and adults. Used frozen broccoli. Fresh would have been even better but hey, didn't have fresh so frozen worked just fine. I cooked the frozen broccoli first but next time I'll just throw it in as it was a little mushy. Adding this to my "tried and true" folder.

Chicken and Peppers with Balsamic Vinegar

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2013
Tried this tonight. Got great reviews from all! Used chicken thighs instead of breasts and served it over rice. Great for low-carb people (without the rice) :)

Ray's Chicken

I've been trying marinade recipes for chicken and so far this one is the best by far! Very tasty. Only marinated the chicken thighs a few hours in the fridge instead of overnight and it was still wonderful.

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

My favorite kind of recipe: Short prep time with great results. The pork was so tender and delicious and everyone loved it, not just for kids!

Easy Ham and Cheese Appetizer Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2013
Made these for a baby shower a while back. About half of the people at the shower asked for the recipe! One thing, the amount of sauce made can easily make double the number of sandwiches. I used the sweet King Hawaiian rolls that most groceries have in the bakery/deli section. Very tasty!

Quick Chicken and Noodles

Not bad. I can't say it was a huge it with others at my home but I enjoyed it. A little bland as written. I added quite a bit of seasoning and it was improved!

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
Loved this recipe. I made it for the first time for a Thanksgiving potluck and everyone absolutely loved it. I doubled the recipe and used a large casserole dish. I cut the amount of sugar in half and added a little extra vanilla. As some reviewers suggested I used more topping than what was suggested but instead of more sugar, butter and flour I added more pecans. The dish looks great when covered with pecans. Thanks for the recipe! Will make it every year and maybe during the year too.

Terrific Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
I've made this recipe 5 times and it's a keeper. I don't have to be perfect on the ingredients. Like beef broth. My sisterinlaw is vegetarian so we substituted vegetable broth & noticed little difference. Still haven't made it with chili pepper flakes but keep meaning to get some at the store! I like that others are throwing other vegetables in along with the zucchini. I haven't tried that but once didn't have zucchini and it was good with just onions and peppers. I've started buying frozen and canned just to keep everything on hand to make this. It's a handy one for a last minute dinner. My husband, who normally won't eat turkey except at Thanksgiving likes it and I convinced the kids to eat it with a little chips and cheese. You don't really need the sour cream or cheese in the basic version. It's good as a basic turkey chili, nice & healthy ...

Seven Layer Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
These are very easy to make and taste good. I think next time I make these (and I will because they were so easy) I will figure out some way to cut back on the sweetness. If only there were some semi-sweet butterscotch chips. I may try cutting back on the butterscotch chips and increasing the semi-sweet chocolate chips. That might just work!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
These were a huge hit for Thanksgiving. We made them instead of the usual mashed potatoes and had them all ready to throw in the oven for 15 minutes after the bird came out. Was great because there wasn't a lot of last minute mashing. Kids LOVE THEM!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
This pie is awesome! Easy enough to make. I had never made a lattice top before. I just cut the pie crust in strips and kind of wove them around on top. It didn't look great going in to the oven but looked great coming out. Careful when you pour the sugar mixture over the top of the pie as it is very hot. Pour it slowly.!

Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
I made this with thighs, threw it in the cooker and left. Was in a hurry and spent about 5 minutes on it which is great for a workday. Everyone liked it and it hardly has any ingredients. Tasted great. I had mine with rice, someone else had theirs plain, and someone else here had theirs rolled up in a tortilla with cheese so everyone was happy.
