Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
This is a GREAT weeknight recipe... broiling the fish gets it cooked in no time flat. We omit the lemon juice (personal preference) and add double the parm cheese... yummy.

Mix in 1 cup of melted chocolate chips and a generous squirt of chocolate syrup... UNBELIEVABLE.

Quick Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
Don't be scared of the sticky dough--these rolls are GREAT. Took the advice of another reviewer and used an ice-cream scoop (sprayed with cooking spray) to plop the dough into the muffin tins... that worked well. I would make these every night if I could!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

GREAT dip. My teeny Crock-Pot kept it warm and delicious. "Tostitos" chips were really yummy with it. :-)

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2007
Terrific, terrific soup. I added carrots, onions, celery and garlic (as other users recommended), but it would have been delicious without those things, too. The rice seasoning gives it a unique flavor. One of my family's new favorites!

Easy Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
Cake mix--who would've thought it made such an unbelieveable crust for apple crisp? This recipe is as easy as it is delicious. One of the things I really like about this site is how you can read other cooks' suggestions or alterations to the recipe. It really helps. I used yellow "butter recipe" cake mix (as someone else tried and liked), cut the brown sugar to 1/2 cup, and added 1/2 cup of oats. The apple crisp turned out very nicely. Thanks for the great recipe!

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: May 23, 2006
These are fantastic! Even better: they're easy to make! Mine took 30 minutes to bake (rather than the recipe's 20 min), but I probably made the meatballs a little bigger than normal. My husband is in love with this dish.

Angel Food Cake III

Easy to make, especially for a first-timer (like me). I took others' advice and baked for 30 minutes instead of 45... the cake came out perfectly. Highly recommend this recipe!

Emily's Famous Apple Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2005
This is the first homemade pie I ever attempted to make, and the recipe was WONDERFUL. The pie turned out great. I rolled the apple slices in the sugar mixture (instead of sprinkling the mixture onto the apples) in order to make sure I coated all the apples evenly. This was our Thanksgiving dessert, and it received rave reviews! Thanks for this recipe!

Lover's Beef Burgundy Filet

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2004
This recipe makes truly one of the most delicious steaks I have ever tasted. The burgundy and oyster sauce combined gives the meat a unique, delicious flavor. I will definitely make this recipe again (and again!).

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2003
This soup is 1,000 times better than O'Charley's Potato Soup (my former favorite soup)! It is out of this world! I am impressing my new husband so much with my culinary skills! :-) lol Adding some extra potato skins really does give it extra texture and flavor. I used fat-free sour cream, skim milk, and light margarine, and it didn't diminish the flavor in the least. This soup was FANTASTIC!!!

Easy Tiramisu

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2003
My husband and I just came back from a cruise where they served the most wonderful tiramisu. I made this recipe for his birthday, and it tastes even BETTER than the cruise ship's recipe. I was so pleased with this! You MUST double the filling amount, as others have said. I used Milano cookies instead of ladyfingers, too. Mascarpone is hard to find... it's usually in the "fancy cheese" section of the grocery store, by the deli. Thanks, Kallista, for this GREAT dish!
