Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
Delish! I used hamburger buns (toasted) and about 1/2c of raisins. Just wonderful!!!! And so great to not have to make a HUGE pan. Thanks!

Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
Yum!!! Hubby definitely wants this to stay on the regular rotation. Went exactly by recipe except added garlic (we love it). This was a great way to use our venison Italian sausage. Thanks for a great keeper recipe!

Traditional Gyro Meat

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
We loved this. I used 1/2 lamb & 1/2 ground venison. Also, I cheated. I replaced the dried spices with a total of 3T greek seasoning (which has all that stuff in it) plus more salt. Used paper towel to drain onion, then combined & baked as directed. After cooling, I sliced thinly then browned slices in a skillet to serve. Looks & tastes just like the gyro places we frequent and my friends are super jealous that I can make my own! Thanks so much!!

Yummy, yummy yummy!!! This was delicious & looked so pretty in the bowl! I made it yesterday for our Father's Day cookout and everyone raved! I realize today that I forgot to get out the whipped cream!! Oh well, no one seemed to mind (ha!). I'll definitely be making this again. Thanks, Valali!

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
O-M-G-ravy!!! This is some good stuff! Other than cutting the salt (1 t in marinade & 1 t in sauce) and using dried cilatnro (about 1 T) in sauce rather than fresh at the end, I followed recipe exactly. No, not true, I pan fried my chicken, because rain prevented me from grilling. This was de-lish-ous!!!! Loved the kick from the jalapeno & cayenne! Exactly what I was hoping for. This is a KEEPER! Thanks, Yakuta!!

Salmon and Spinach Fettuccine

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
Loved it! I did make a few small changes, only because of what I had on hand. Used evaporated milk (no regular in house) and thinned with white wine, added a tsp. of minced garlic and fresh mushrooms (we love 'em & they needed to be eaten). Also just a tad of lemon juice and S&P. And I did use smoked salmon and about 1 T dried oregano (had no fresh). Yummmm!!!

Artichoke Chicken

Yum, Yum, and more Yum! I did the half mayo, half sour cream route. Marinated artichokes drained & squeezed. Absolutely delicious - this will definitely be a new addition to our rotation!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
Yum, Yum, Yum! I used a sirloin tip roast and added garlic, salt, kitchen bouquet and some minced onion. I think a little worcestershire would have been good as well. This is a definite keeper!

Jail House Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
I finally found non-vinegar-based hot sauce at one of the Mexican markets & had to get this made. LOVED it! I have to admit, at first there's something "odd" about it, almost tasted like the shrimp dip my Mom used to make. But we just kept eating it! Even better after a day or so in the fridge. It makes a Ton - I'm making it again next week to take on our beach trip.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
Absolutely delicious! Besides the onion soup mix, I added cajun seasoning & poultry seasoning (because we like our turkeys REALLY seasoned). No one could believe I'd cooked it in the crock pot and everyone was amazed at how much "juice" was left for making gravy - which also turned out great. I'll be cooking our turkey breasts like this from now on!

Savory Italian Sausage Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
This sauce rocks! I followed the recipe to a "T" (doubled) - except for the simmering step, I threw it all in the crockpot on low for several hours. SO Delicious! We will be making this sauce often!

Green Chicken Enchilada's

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
This was great, Patty Cakes! So easy to throw together - I had everything on hand except enchilada sauce, so one quick stop - just like you said. I used up the last of 4 different cheeses we had in the fridge too. Exactly fit what I was craving! Thanks for a new keeper recipe!

Spinach, Caramelized Onion, and Muenster Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
Abolutely Divine! I had no cream, so used 1 3/4c milk + 1/4c sour cream. Also, after baking 30 min covered & 20 uncovered, I put back in 300 degree oven, covered for about 30 min only because my guys hadn't made it home yet. Then popped back in just to melt the final cheese. These were so fabulous with grilled steaks & roasted asparagus! Everyon went back for seconds! Thanks for a great recipe!!

Happy Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Absolutely divine! I replaced half the butter with olive oil and used whole milk instead of cream, because that's what I had on hand. I made 1 1/2 the amount of sauce, added a little cajun seasoning plus mushrooms & broccoli. We served with fettucine. This was delicious! The sauce is quite light but with a nice richness. Thank you so much for a great recipe. We will be making this often!

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
These are great, and SO easy! I made them eaven easier - instead of brushing with oil, I sprayed with non-stick spray and sprinkled with a specialty garlic/salt mixture I had on hand. Topped as stated - just perfect! And so nice that you don't have to fry them.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
This was good. Like other reviewers, I spread the beans on the tortillas before placing them face-down - so layered beef mix, then cheese, then beans, tortillas. Topped with lettuce, sour cream & salsa. I divided everything into three small casseroles & froze two of them for later. And I used venison burger for the meat. My only complaint was there was something "sweet" about it. I'm sure it was from the tortillas because I've gotten that same "taste" before wit other tortilla dishes - may just be that particular brand, or maybe I just just use a hotter sauce in the meat mixture.
