My cooking triumphs
Probably my crab cakes and seafood bisque I made for a dinner party a few years ago. It was a fabulous party with fabulous food. It was the first time with each recipe, which is a HUGE gamble, but both came out GREAT.
My cooking tragedies
My senior year in college, I was having some friends over for dinner and I had been making sauce for spaghetti and meatballs ALL DAY. Just before everyone was to be there, I knocked the pot off the stove. I was devastated, but had just enough time to clean up the mess and run to the store to buy spaghetti sauce. Oh well. Glad it wasn't something impossible to replace at the last minute.

The Best Bean and Ham Soup
My absolute favorite after Christmas soup! The only change is that I use canned navy beans (3 cans whole, 3 cans pureed).

Baked Pork Chops I
Maybe not the healthiest of recipes, but DELISH!! Used 1can of golden mushroom and 1 can of cream of mushroom. Everything else was by the original recipe and it was wonderful. A perfect fall entree!

Kielbasa Stew
This was fabulous! Made the first batch exactly as written and loved it. The second batch I doubled - the only change was (based on other reviews), was that I added tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. It is now one of our favorite soups! Served with crusty baguette for dipping. I really can't express how well these flavors blend together sand compliment each other.
