About Me
I am a care taker for my 8 handicapped adopted brother and sisters. I was widowed in 2009 and have a stepson and grandson. I am just trying to keep it all together and cooking is my escape. Thank goodness my family loves to try new things.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. It helps me to watch something I mix in a bowl.turn out so brown and perfect. My favorate things are cakes I love trying new versons.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a German and Irish background, so I try to waste nothing. Everything can be saved and made into a casserole at the end of the week.
My cooking triumphs
I made a seven tiered anniverary cake for my grandparents when I was thirteen. Best thing I ever made. It was perfect.
My cooking tragedies
Tried to make beans and dumplings. My late husbands mother made them. I dont know what I did wrong but mine turned out like a pot of glue.
