Creamy Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2015
This is a great recipe. I used 1/2 teaspoon raspberry extract instead of vanilla and a little red food coloring. It made it look so pretty

In place of the broth I used tomato juice. Used 5 cheese in place of the mozzerello. Added a little eggplant and onions. I felt like it was missing something maybe minced garlic. We topped with spaghetti sauce. I will make again useing some garlic

Banana Trifle

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2015
I did make a few changes. Used 3 bananas 1 pk vanilla pudding and 1 pk banana. I think it would have been too much banana flavor. I put 1/2 cup grated TOASTED almonds in the pudding mixture. I didn't use all the whipping cream. I used about 3 of the 4 cups as listed. I will make again the same way.

Unstuffed Cabbage Roll

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2014
We really enjoyed this recipe . We served with basmati rice and added the leftover rice to it to absorb some of the liquid . We will make again. Second time I made I added 1 tsp grated ginger root, chicken instead of beef. Served with ramen noodles

Marshmallow Treats

This has been a favorite since I was a kid. Had to make again today to bring back memories. The only thing I think is incorrect is that it says servings 24. Not in my house. LOL

I used natural almond butter because I didn't have natural peanut butter. The dogs loved them. They are crunchy bones not soft. Good for cleaning teeth

New Wife Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2014
This is a very flavorful tuna salad. I had to use 5 cans of tuna because mine were 5 oz cans not 6 oz. I added two celery stalks because we love celery. Used sweet relish. Did not have honey mustard so I used regular... 3/4 tablespoon and 1/4 tablespoon honey. Also used Adobe seasoned salt. I put all the ingrediants except the tuna in the food processor then added to the tuna. I Love this recipe

Chef John's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2014
Although I did make alterations this is a great recipe. I didn't add the thyme because some people said it was overwhelming. I added one beaten egg in with the last cup of milk and although taboo I added the packet from Kraft macaroni and cheese to add extra cheese flavor. The only other change I used Ritz crackers in place of the panko crumbs. Sorry for the changes but it was a great base.
