Brunch Scones

This recipe is great. The scones are better than most i've bought in stores or bakeries. I made this using dried cranberries insteadof currants, and it was wonderful!

Absolutely awesome!! It's like a dish you'd get in a very nice (expensive!) restaurant. For convenience, I use a can of diced tomatoes. The heavy cream does make it rich, but that just adds to the decadence!

One Dish Broccoli Rotini

Very tasty. I steam the broccoli instead of boiling and double the cheese and garlic. It makes a nice side dish or main dish.

Banana Pudding IV

Awesome recipe! I have a feeling I'll be making this a lot from now on! This is a perfect dessert for a picnic or BBQ, and it's sure to impress friends. I followed some of the suggestions from the other reviews. I used 6 bananas instead of 4 and tossed them with lemon juice. I also used a small box of vanilla pudding and a small box of banana pudding. I decreased the cold milk from 3 to 2.5 cups, and used a 12 oz. whipped topping instead of 8 oz. I also used fat-free condensed sweetened milk.

Grilled Cilantro Salmon

Delicious and absurdley easy to prepare! I cooked mine covered in a 350 degree oven for 15 or 20 mins instead of grilling and it came out perfectly. My husband loved it and wants to make sure we have it again!

Eggs Benedict

This is awesome!!! I've made this recipe several times and will keep making it again and again. The hollandaise sauce is absolutely perfect...lemony, buttery, what more could you want? The whole thing from start to finish only takes me 20 minutes to make. For those who gave it bad reviews, I can only think that they must have done something wrong, because this is Eggs Benedict as good or better than you can get in any restaurant.

German Spaetzle Dumplings

This recipe is absolutely perfect, prepared just as written! It's delicious and authentic. I don't have a spaetzle maker so I pressed the dough the holes in the steamer that came with my cookware. It makes perfectly sized spaetzle.

Jagerschnitzel

This is a wonderful, delicious recipe! I used fresh cremini mushrooms instead of canned, and canned beef broth instead of a boullion cube and water. All I had were Italian-seasoned bread crumbs, but the flavors still worked perfectly .As with many other reviewers, I prepared this along with the spaetzle recipe found on this site to make a perfect, authentic German meal!

Baked Lemon Chicken

This is a nice, easy recipe. I used panko instead of regular bread crumbs (to make it extra crispy and crunchy) and mixed in a small amount of parmesan and Italian seasoning (to add a little more flavor and depth to the breading). I also used garlic powder instead of a garlic clove and extra lemon juice. The only change I would make next time would be to use an egg instead of butter. I think this will give the bread crumbs more sticking power, both before and after baking.
