Chocolate Almond Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
Absolutely delicious! I have made several double batches which were devoured when I took it to work. Husband likes this pudding tremendously and actually requests it. I usually use all vanilla extract as it is personal preference. All in all, a delicious, dead-easy dessert that is a keeper in my file! :-)

Treasure Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
These were a big hit with my coworkers and also with the church social hour crowd. I made one batch as the recipe is written and it is definitely a keeper! I made a second, double batch and added a package of butterscotch morsels and a package of peanut butter morsels so the cookie tasted like a Magic Layer/Hello Dolly-type cookie. Treasure Cookies are a delicious base cookie to tweak to your personal preferences. I will use this recipe often.

White Chocolate Gorp

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
I have made this recipe twice...first as written, then again using granola, oat cereal, raisins, candy-coated chocolate pieces, peanuts and some pretzel squares, along with the melted white chocolate. First batch was for coworkers to snack, second was for some friends who backpack in the High Sierras. Both batches were received and consumed to rave reviews! Will definitely make this again...I sense a new tradition has been created! =)

An average cookie...tasty but not stellar. The name is creative, though. =)

Cup of Everything Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
This is a surefire hit with my friends and family. It is a definite keeper, and I will use it often. I have baked these cookies twice already, and I think they would also make a delicious "stand alone" peanut butter cookies without the add-ins.

Cup of Everything Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
I have made these cookies twice in two weeks, and they were a huge hit on both occasions. I made them as written the first time and made them with just peanuts, graham cracker crumbs, raisins, and chocolate chips as the add-ins the second. (That was what I had in my pantry.) Both batches disappeared rapidly with scarcely a crumb left over! In fact, I gave a dozen cookies to a friend from church and she asked me to make them again so the cookies can be served at next Sunday's coffee hour! Thank you, Peggy C.! :-)

Slow Cooker Porcupine Meatballs With Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
My husband and his coworkers have had the winter doldrums lately, so because it was Groundhog Day, I decided to send a double batch of porcupines. This recipe caught my eye because it is specifically for slow cooker, which is what is great for work. I confess I only used the sauce from this recipe but am so glad I did! It was a HUGE hit, and the coworkers have informed me that they expect "groundhogs" with this sauce again next year on February 2.

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
My husband and his coworkers were feeling the winter doldrums so I decided to send a double batch of these delicious meatballs to work to celebrate Groundhog Day. I figured these porcupines would make a nice substitute for groundhogs. LOL ;) These were served with brown rice and some toasted French bread, and this dish was a HUGE hit. The only problem is that the folks at work have already told me in no uncertain terms that they expect "groundhogs" again next year. LOL =)

Honey-Peanut Butter Cookies

A pleasant cookie but lacks enough peanut butter flavor for me and my taste-testers. Might try again with chopped peanuts and some peanut butter chips.

Anzac Biscuits I

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I send care packages of these yummy treats to my nieces and nephews studying at University...they RAVE about these biscuits! ANZAC Bikkies became a favorite of mine when I was an exchange student in Australia, and this recipe is exactly the same as the bikkies my host moms baked. It's worth the effort to order Lyle's Golden Syrup online just for making ANZAC Biscuits I! :) Thank you, Sharon, for posting this wonderful recipe!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

I made these to celebrate the beginning of Autumn and sent them to work. One of the fellas asked, with a mouth full of cookie, "where did you get my gram's recipe?" That means this gem is GOOD and a KEEPER!

JELL-O Magic Mousse

This dessert is fun and tasty! My mother taught me to make this about 30+ years ago, when Jello stopped making a product called Jello 1-2-3. I will definitely make this delightful dessert often this summer! :-)

Dreamy Nighttime Drink

Dreamy indeed! This delicious drink has been a favorite of mine for decades...I'm glad to see it posted on AllRecipes.com! What I like best about Dreamy Nighttime Drink is it is very soothing, creamy, and a wonderful alternative when I am looking for something non-chocolate.

Cassata Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
This is very tasty. I have made this cake twice, first as written and the second time as a 13x9 sheet cake. The sheet cake version was easier to tote to a birthday luncheon, the cake as written is more suitable as a "company"/fancy supper dessert. For the sheet cake version, I pricked the cake many times with a fork then poured the syrup over it, spread the filling, then poured the glaze over the filling.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Definitetly a crowd pleaser! This was a star at our latest BBQ. I will make Big Al's sauce again, and will make it in large quantities for giving away in the family gift baskets this Holiday Season. The only change I will make is for my personal use, and I would increase the cayenne or decrease the cinnamon. That's just personal preference...the sauce is PHENOMENAL as is.

Molasses Sugar Cookies

Very tasty, not too spicy...my "cookie hounds" (aka coworkers) loved them! Only thing I would change if I could is that I wish this cookie where thicker textured. The flavor itself is just right "as is".

Big Kev's Texas Style Long Island Iced Tea

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2009
We mixed this up for our first BBQ of the year. We had 4 guests coming to the party (and I don't drink much alcohol), so we multiplied the original measurements by 16, mixed all the booze beforehand and then added the cola just before serving. HUGE hit! Will definitely keep this one on file. :)

Easy Monster Cookies (Cookie Mix)

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Unable to find a Monster Cookie recipe that wasn't too crispy or totally oatmeal based, I gave this recipe a go and it turned out great. This also does well as a base recipe...feel free to add in as many "optionals" as you like. I especially like to add chopped honey roasted peanuts or toffee peanuts. These cookies are great "mailers", too!

Gunline Coffee

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
Are you seeking a smooth, tasty mocha/coffee mix? SEEK NO MORE. :) I have made several batchs of Gunline Coffee for home use and for coworkers to enjoy on the job. Everyone enjoys it tremendously! Cinnamon or peppermint flavored creamers are a nice change of pace, but this yummy recipe can stand on its own "as is." Thank you CATWALK and to your husband! :)
