Grandma's Homemade Banana Bread
We love this recipe. I have made it several times. I did use cream that I added lemon juice to for the sour milk this last time. this gave a bit richer flavor.

Simple Turkey Chili
We loved it after making a few adjustments to use what I had on hand. First adjustment was to use the recipe ajdustment to make 16 servings since I had 2 pounds of ground turkey to use up. I browned onions, peppers (use red, green, & banana which I had on hand), and garlic in the oil. Then I browned the ground turkey. I did not added the water. I only had 32 ounce cans of crushed tomatoes, so I did not feel I needed extra water. I used extra cumin and added brown sugar. I did let is simmer longer as we were not ready to eat after 30 mins. I served in bowls top with shredded Mexican Blend Cheese (what I had on hand) and cornbread on the side.

Chicken and Apple Curry
My husband really enjoyed this recipe. I did make changes to it, to use things that we had on hand. I used a heaping tablespoon, maybe double the amount. I cut down the chicken broth to 2/3 of a cup and used a 1/3 cup of coconut water (left over). I added a can of cream of mushroom soup that had been open by accident and had been siitting in the refridge (undiluted) to the liquids before adding. Not only did I salt & pepper the chicken breat, but I also rub parprika on them. If you like raisins you can add a few for the last few minutes of cooking.
