Mom's Country Gravy

I love this because it's Mom and Grandma's recipe the only different between there recipe calls for 4 table spoons of bacon drippings instead of vegi oil. I will use this rewcipe for guest and almost every time I want gravy. Will be bad a couple of times a year and use Grandmas and Mom's...

Sorry to let you know, my grandpa clamed he came up with this in the 20's. We been making our eggs and toast that way for years. But they are great who ever invented this cooking egg still. Oh chop alittle ham or bacon in then crack your egg,

Homemade Vanilla Extract

This is great I been making my own vanilla for over 20 years now. Forget the stuff you buy in the store, home made is better. For Shalaine_1 the longer you keep it sealed and in a dark cool place the stronger it gets plus good quality Vanilla beens are also the key.

Bread Pudding II

This is like Grandmas bread pudding. I added a little nutmeg to mine and hit the target, just like grandmas. Bread pudding is supose to be custard-like and the sides and top are supose to be a little drier and crispier.

1 to 2 table spoons of suger is better. I tried it with the 3/4 cups and was way to sweet. Tried it a second time wit 1 1/2 table spoon of sugar and it was just right.

1 teaspoon is a of garlic salt is little mush do to the bacon, so I used 1/4 teaspoon of salt and used 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and low salt bacon. 100% just right.
