Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
EXCELLENT! Very tasty and easy! My only change was to use 1 1/8 tsp. garlic powder as I was out of fresh garlic. I baked at 375 degrees until it was almost done, then broiled for the last 5 minutes. I served them with fingerling potatoes that I cut into wedges, coated with olive oil and sprinkled with onion soup mix. The cooking time was about the same. (The potatoes didn't get the 5 minutes broil.) The smell was enough to get your taste buds going! Thank you AVASEWELL for such a tasty easy recipe! Having a video was really nice, thank you AR!

Bryan's Red Ribbon Recipe

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
YUMMY! I used 100% natural whole grain old fashioned Quaker Oats and followed the recipe leaving out the walnuts due to diet restriction but baked for 9 minutes. I also used parchment paper instead of greasing a cookie sheet. Perfect! I would have loved to have added the walnuts as I feel that would have put it over the top. I made 24 cookies so they must have been a little smaller than called for. I did notice that I ran the mixer a little longer than I do with other recipes, so it was really well mixed. Thank you Bryan for sharing such a YUMMY recipe!! We LOVED it!

King Cake in a Bread Machine

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
OUTSTANDING! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!! I had never made a King cake before. This was so easy using the bread machine. I was amazed at the ease of handling the dough once it was done. I replaced the chopped pecans with raisins I had plumped and doubled the filling mixture. I baked it on a pizza pan so it would be nice and round. I was afraid I didn't butter the pan enough but it slid right off onto the cooling rack which I covered with parchment paper so I could drizzle the icing and sugar without too much mess. It was so easy to make but the taste was OUTSTANDING! I told Hubby I will have to make this every year and he informed me that I can make it all year long, he doesn't want to wait a year. Thank you Suzzanna for sharing another OUTSTANDING recipe!

Homestyle Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
YUM! So flavorful! I love having a recipe that you don't have to cook the ground beef first. Your review was so helpful, Jillian. I used frozen bell peppers from last summer's garden. As the peppers were soft when they defrosted, I skipped cooking them in boiling water. I tried not to stray from the recipe, but when I went to do the dishes, I found the egg still sitting there lightly beaten. It didn't seem to be a problem. The cooking time was right on and our dinner was FABULOUS! Thank you for sharing your family recipe, Jillian I'm sure you make your family proud!

Anisette Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2013
EXCELLENT! One taste of this dough and I knew I was on the right track. It was so easy to work with. I used a spatula and dipped it in water to smooth the top of the loaf. I was surprised that the instructions didn't say to lower the temperature before the second bake. I didn't and all was fine. Thank you Linda (LMT) for sharing such an EXCELLENT recipe! I will be making this again and doubling the recipe!!

Dark Chocolate Cherry Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
VERY GOOD! I used maraschino cherries which I patted dry and microwaved to dry out a little as I didn't have dried cherries. It turned out excellent! Chocolate marshmallow is one of my favorite flavors so next time I plan on adding more marshmallows just prior to pouring in the pan to firm. A definite winner here! Thanks Nestle!

Butterscotch Haystacks

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2012
This recipe really took me by surprise. I didn't think I cared for butterscotch but it blended nicely with the peanut butter. The marshmallows and chow mein noodles gave it a nice texture. This is a recipe that I'm sure the grandkids will love! Thank you Nestle Toll House for another great recipe!

Easy Sausage, Peppers and Onions with Elbows

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2012
EXCELLENT! I love that this recipe is so versatile. Hubby asked for it to be served with rice and it was absolutely delicious. He kept telling me how much he enjoyed it and asked to have sandwiches with the leftovers for tomorrow. I was hoping to freeze the leftovers and have it with elbows another day. Thank you korilynne for such an EXCELLENT recipe that can be served so many different ways!

Sweet and Salty Toll House® Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
I love Toll House cookies and find this recipe as proof you shouldn't mess with perfection. Although, I love pretzels and potato chips, they don't enhance this cookie. The potato chip adds more greasiness and the pretzel made it drier. It depended on what was in your "bite" as to how it tasted. Too much going on as others have stated. Sorry Toll House, your product is great but not this recipe.

Smart Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2012
PERFECT! Hubby and I both loved these. Tonight I was looking for a cookie recipe that only used baking soda as I was out of baking powder. When I saw this recipe used candy-coated chocolate, I knew I wanted to try it as I had some Almond Joy pieces I also wanted to use. It was a perfect match. It was very easy to make but it didn't tell you how to prepare the cookie sheet. (Perhaps Allrecipes can fix that for you) I used parchment paper and it worked very well. Thank you PAYDRA for sharing your recipe!

White Chip Orange Cookies

VERY GOOD! This was a nice combination of orange and vanilla. In place of orange zest I used a spoonful of frozen orange concentrate as mentioned by another reviewer. I was very pleased with the result. Thank you Nestle Toll House for this recipe.

Swanson® Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

VERY GOOD! My only change was to use 2% milk in place of the light cream as it was all I had. It's hard to imagine that these could taste any better. Thank you Campbell's Kitchen for sharing this recipe!

Quick and Flavorful Vegetables

LOVED IT! I used a half package 16 oz. frozen peas and carrots and 1 packet of Chicken Flavor boost. I microwaved the veggies for 4 minutes then tossed with the flavor boost. It couldn't have been easier and I found it very tasty. I will make this again. Thank you Campbell's Kitchen!

Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2012
Quick & Easy! I used the Pillsbury Big & Flaky Crescent Dinner Rolls and American cheese in place of cheddar. These were quick and easy to make. As there is only two of us, I made four roll-ups and wrapped the left-over dough between two pieces of parchment paper and refrigerated. I will use them soon for another tasty recipe from Pillsbury. Thank you for sharing this recipe. YUM!
