Strawberry Cake from Scratch

Cake tasted much too artificial. I followed recipe except for separating egg yolks and beat whites into peaks and added separately as recommended. Cake did not turn out dense and texture was fine BUT the Jello dominates the flavor, that i may as well have baked a box cake! I also tried a second run with much less Jello flavoring and it was slightly better but I still would not make this again.

Tiramisu Cheesecake

This recipe is pretty good. The only few changes I would make: Up the amount of liqueur as other users mentioned. I pre-baked the crust about 5-10 minutes. I could not find ladyfingers so I used a mix of vanilla and chocolate cookies. 12 oz package may be TOO much for crust. I used less than that. I also baked this in a water bath (instead of steaming on the lower rack). Also, it probably could do without the flour (or less amount). I would make this again!

2-Step Creamy Chicken and Pasta

I didn't have a pasta/veggie blend, so I knew it would lack seasoning. For seasoning I used onion powder, garlic salt, pepper and chicken boullion seasoning. For the soup, I used cream of mushroom and it turned out tasty and pretty darned easy.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Double the sauce, as everyone has says and it'll turn out great. The first time I made this I did not double the sauce and the chicken did come out a little too dry. Even so, my husband liked it.

Marinade for Chicken

I don't know if I have different taste buds or something but I followed the recipe exactly. I used fresh parsley, fresh lemon juice, etc. My chicken came out tasting TOO SOUR/ACIDIC. It could be to the amount of vinegar, worchestshire and lemon juice altogether. I had marinated chicken legs and thighs overnight and barbecued on our grill. While the chicken was juicy, it just tasted TOO ACIDIC!!! I would not make this again.
