Oatmeal Waffles

Yummy yum yum! I only use old fashioned oat meal so that's what I used. The oatmeal didn't have time to soften. I put the batter in the frig to use the next day. Wow! Was it excellent then because the oats had a chance to soften up. This weekend, I made the batter Friday night and put it in the frig to use Saturday and Sunday morning. It was so good. That's what I will be doing from now on. It's so quick to throw it together the night before and it was so creamy and nice the next morning. I did add a bit more milk like other reviewers suggested. The waffles are hearty but not too heavy and rich, but not too rich. I have been looking for a waffle recipe that I liked for quite a while. This one is the one I've been searching for. Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This is a keeper! Such amazingly good flavor! I used Honey Baked ham in it. Wow, was is delicious. It's such an easy recipe too. Thanks Ellie11.

French Baguettes

Unbelievably delicious! I never imagined that this bread would turn out this good! It was the first time that I ever made french bread. I followed the recipe exactly. I don't ever see a reason to buy french bread ever again. Store bought pales in comparison. It was really easy to make!

Oatmeal Molasses Bread

Delicious bread! I made in my bread machine. I will definitely make this over and over again. I was looking for a squaw bread recipe. This is what I had in mind. I will cut back on the honey or molasses because I think I'd enjoy it even more if it were a little less sweet.

Donut Muffins

I rank this recipe up there with Grandma Johnson's Scones recipe from this site. I just did not think these muffins would taste as good as they did. The recipe was so simple and I whipped it up in 5 minutes. I made a half a batch (12 minis) . I read a few reviews and decided to cut the nutmeg in half. I made them Saturday. Somehow, mysteriously they all disappeared! Truth be known, I made them again the next day! I think that I will have to limit myself to making these for the holidays only because I just can't control myself with these. They are indescribably delicious.

Gingerbread Men

I used this recipe to make gingerbread men cookies with my 23 kindergartners. It was very easy to mix (they did the mixing). It rolled out easily and baked beautifully. The kids loved them. Everyone liked them. That's a rarity with a class of kindergartners. I would really give this 4 1/2 stars. I like a cut out cookie to get a tad bit firmer, but maybe I would try baking a minute or two longer. The flavor was great! I loved that I didn't have to buy molasses.

Caramel Pecan Ice Cream Dessert

Wow! This was so so good! I used sugar free caramel topping. I only used one layer of the caramel because I didn't have enough of it. Oh my goodness, it was unbelievably good. Everyone enjoyed it. This is definitely a keeper!

Kettle Corn

Sesame-Soy Broccoli Florets

French Toast Casserole

Mmmmmmm! This was delicious! I also added chopped pecans to the mixture before I poured it over the bread and put a few more on top. I cut down on the sugar by substituting Splenda for the sugar that was mixed into the egg mixture. I still used the sugar on the top to get the crunchiness. I will make this often.

Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges

Oh My Goodness! These potatoes were soooooo good! The parmesean really added great flavor. I didn't have russets at the time so I used the Yukon Golds that I had on hand. I also used garlic flavored olive oil because that's what I had. I still used the garlic powder because I love garlic. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! I covered the jelly roll pans (I doubled the recipe) with foil and sprayed them with canola oil spray. I used 2 different foils to see if there would be a difference. I found that using non-stick foil really helped. The potatoes on the regular foil stuck a little. I too found that they needed to stay in a few mins. longer than stated in the recipe. I was looking for a checca recipe to eat (without the pasta) on focaccia bread. This was delicious. I reduced the oils and added a little Splenda sweetner to sweeten the tomatoes. It was excellent! I plan on making this recipe often.

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

I really have to work at eating vegetables. Let's just say that they are not the first thing I think about eating. I tried this recipe. YUMMY! YUMMY! YUMMY for my tummy! I ate all of my broccoli first then the rest of my food. This is high praise indeed!

Sour Cream Biscuits

I was looking for a delicious biscuit recipe. This is it! I didn't have lemon-lime soda in the house, so I used Club soda instead and added a little Splenda. I didn't feel like rolling them out, so I just dropped them on parchment paper. Mmmmm good! So light and moist. Thanks LaDonna.

Peanut Butter Heaven

This is a tasty recipe! I liked the heartiness of the bar. The oatmeal and the peanut butter made a great combination. I also found them to be too thick. I had to cook them about 40 min. Next time I will bake it in a jelly roll so that it will not be too thick. Delicious!

Oatmeal Pancakes II

I tried this recipe when I had overnight guests staying with me. We all enjoyed them. I wished that I had doubled the recipes as it only made 9 medium sized pancakes. One guest said they had such a full bodied flavor. I couldn't agree more. I will definitely make these again and again.
