Mike's Homemade Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
Made this exactly as directed. The crust was perfect and the sauce was great. I didn't find it too spicy at all and I am not a spicy food person. It was our first attempt at pizza from scratch and we will definitely make this again. It was a hit with the whole family.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
This was my first time attempting to cook a brussel sprout. I will admit to not trying them due to their bad reputation. We followed the recipe, but added a bit of minced garlic and then roasted them on the grill in a foil packet. They were delicious. We will definately be making these again. They were a bit black and crunchy on the outside, but the inside was soft and reminded me of cooked cauliflower. Great method, made our family brussel sprout eaters! Thanks!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
My husband has been wanting to do ribs since we got our new grill. I am honestly not a huge fan, but wanted to please my man. We decided on this recipe and I can say that I am not a fan of Ribs. We made them exactly as stated, except leaving out the onion powder because we didn't have any! The sauce was fantastic. As said, I am not a BBQ person, and I truly loved the sauce. The ribs were falling off the bone. We doubled the sauce as recommended, and we have plenty leftover after 2 racks of ribs. I am a fussy eater and an accomplished cook, and I recommend this recipe. It was REALLY good. Thanks!!!

Creamy Corn Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
We wanted a quick easy salad and this was perfect. We ommitted onions because my husband doesn't care for them (I think it would be better with them) but we all agreed it was a keeper and will make again for sure.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
I am a huge toffee lover and for years have purchased it from a local store. I decided to try it on my own, and had no idea how easy it was. We followed the directions with the exception of adding a tsp of vanilla. This toffee was perfection. Better than the stuff I buy. We decided to make batches of this for gifts.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
I made this for a baby shower last year and it was a total hit! Out of 30 attendees I think that at least 2/3 asked for the recipe. It was out of this world delicious! I lost my recipe and had to come back to get it for a Thanksgiving appetizer. Excellent recipe and perfect as is!

Spring Strawberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2003
THIS WAS DISGUSTING! I made it exactly according to the recipe. I thought I'd gag when I tried it. I wasted strawberries and Spinach on it. Gah. I thought it would be delicious, I was wrong. I had bought enough to make a double batch so I mixed the remaining spinach and strawberries and used a raspberry vinagrette on it... much better. Gah...

French Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2002
This was excellent! I am trying to cook healthier for my family. My husband hates onions, but like French onion soup. I made the recipe according to the directions except I added a can of mushrooms in and then topped them with a slice of Provolone. Not as healthy as the original, but the Provolone was not even necessary since the burgers were excellent. I normally add a lot of spice and seasonings and I didn't at all, I followed it exactly except for adding the mushrooms. Full of flavor and taste. This recipe is definately a keeper and we will be making it again for sure!
