Doggie Biscuits I

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2014
As suggested in other reviews, I replaced the water with beef broth and reduced it to 1/2 c. It was still a bit liquidy after that but I added a bit more flour and it worked out fine. My co-workers dog really seemed to enjoy these.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2014
This were good for a quickie meal. Overall it was a bit bland. Probably would have been a bit more filling if some shredded chicken or something was added to it. As it was, we were hungry fifteen minutes later.

Chicken Souvlaki with Tzatziki Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2014
This was very good. The Tzatziki was a lovely cool contrast to the chicken. I did add mint to the sauce and a pinch of taragon to the chicken marinade.

Mediterranean Snow Peas

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2014
These were good. Quick, easy, and tasty. Next time I'm going to cut back on the salt a bit though.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2014
I don't have a grill so I cooked these in the oven on a foil lined baking sheet at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. For the sauce, I reduced the soy sauce by a bit and added extra honey. I also added 2 tablespoons of ground ginger. I didn't have trouble with having too little, but I only do 2-3 chicken breasts at a time and made the amount of sauce in the recipe so if you're going to do more than that I'd suggest increasing the amount of sauce you make. When threading the chicken on the skewers, make sure to leave a bit of space between them. This helps them cook a bit faster and more evenly. If you're using wooden skewers, don't forget to soak them in water for a bit before cooking.

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2014
This was tasty but it needed some kind of sauce to go with it.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2014
The chicken was delicious. After the first taco, we ended up just eating the chicken plain right out of the serving dish.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2014
This is such a simple recipe and it tastes so yummy! I've started making it at least once a week for dinner in my house. After a couple of tries though, I did start to butterfly the chicken before pounding it and that helped with the rolling part significantly. This also seemed to help prevent the majority of the cheese from creeping out the side of the chicken while cooking.

Halibut with Creamy Garlic and Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2014
I don't have much of a tolerance for spicy foods, so I cut back on the tarragon and left out the pepper flakes entirely. I'd recommend starting the sauce just before you put the fish in the oven though. We ended up having to wait six or seven minutes after the fish came out for the sauce to be thick enough to serve. It was delicious though. Something I'll definitely make again.
