Crash Hot Potatoes | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
These potatoes are freaking awesome. So easy to prepare, and the crunchiness with the flavor is wonderful! Great alternative to mashed or traditional baked! Everyone loved them! I used a little dried and crushed rosemary instead of fresh.

Chicken Parmigiana | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
I know I cheated and used canned sauce instead of using the crushed tomatoes and wine, but otherwise followed this recipe and it was great!! I am definitely going to try it again using the homemade sauce as well! (And I am going to make sure I use thinner chicken breasts, mine were thicker and had to cook awhile!

16-Minute Meal: Shrimp Scampi | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
This is the best shrimp dish I've ever made at home. It was fabulous. The only think I tweaked was using jarred minced garlic, lemon juice instead of fresh lemons, and dried herbs to use what I had already, and I only used about 6-7 ounces of pasta instead of the full 8 since that seemed to be the right amount for the sauce! YUMM!!!

This was a wonderful recipe! The bacon and tangy red sauce are a great combination with the meat loaf and it is the perfect comfort food dinner with some creamy mashed potatoes!

Favorite Banana Bread - kraftfoods.com

Reviewed: May 28, 2011
Good bread - very moist and tender, would maybe add a little sweetener to it next time and I used 4 bananas and it calls for 3 and even with 4 it didn't have a very strong banana flavor, but I think the extra banana did contribute to making it a lot softer and with less of a "bread" texture. I'd like to try it with 3 bananas and about 1/2 cup more sweetener.

The Best Lasagna. Ever. | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
Flavor wise this is definitely a 5 but WAY too much meat to noodle ratio for us, and I used 5 noodles per the two layers instead of 4 as called for, it was just overpowered by the meat and my carnivore husband said it was 'too meaty'! GASP! I would absolutely use this again, but only half the meat mixture and keep everything else the same. I was thinking it might work AWESOME to make the full meat mixture but freeze half of it for a quick lasagna another night! I will try that next time... :)

Mexican Mac and Cheese Cups. | How Sweet It Is

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
This was a great dish! We all enjoyed it - easy to tweak the seasonings to your preference. I mixed it all in a 9x13 dish, sprinkled with panko and a little more cheese and baked as instructed. I added a little pepper and chili powder to the cheese sauce as well, and added a full cup of corn and think those were good additions. Very good dish!

Carrot Cake Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Glaze - Healthy Food For Living

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I think these rolls were wonderful, but the icing/glaze wasn't very good IMO - I doctored it a lot with more powdered sugar and it was better, but next time I'd use my favorite cream cheese icing from AR! :) The rolls were yummy though - and hubby says they reheated great in the microwave too! :)

Ladyfingers

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I've never made anything like these before and was thrilled at the easy ingredients and instructions - they came out light and spongy and worked PERFECTLY in Pioneer Woman's Tiramisu recipe. My son loves the cookies by themself too and has been "helping" eat the leftover ones! :)

Tiramisu | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
Stunning dessert. I had a sense of accomplishment when it was completed too! I made homemade ladyfingers since I couldn't find them at the store and then started this around 11AM Sunday and it was a lengthy project but WELL worth the effort and TLC that went into it. Absolutely delicious, gorgeous and very decadent. Hubby and son both gave big thumbs up!
