Have not tried it but my mom would add chopped mint into the meatball mixture along with some uncooked rice then added the celery, potatoes, carrots and onions..can of tomato sauce and that was it. no chicken broth or stock. Gave it a 3 star just because it sounds delish..

Chili Dog Casserole II

Tried this for lunch today and loved every bite! I did add some onions and sliced olives for some added color. Needed to use up some leftover lavash and used this instead of a flour tortilla. Could not tell the diffference in texture and the lavash held up very well. Was not soggy or mushy.

Yakisoba Chicken

Really was looking forward to making this dish. However, could not find the soba noodles in the 2 grocery stores I visited. So I subed in some udon noodles. I found the 2 tsp. of chili paste way too hot for my palate. Perhaps others may like it this hot. Also found heating the oils and the chili paste created quite a splatter.
