An Apple Cake, where instead of a teaspoon and a half of baking soda, I put in a cup and a half. It was the first time my wife met my family when we were going out. Her Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake was a hit; mine made hers look even better. ;-)

Slow Cooker Chicken with Mushroom Wine Sauce
Great Recipe!!! Easy to put together, and it tasted great. My two girls loved it. Need to find a way to make the sauce a hair creamier to put over rice. But, otherwise, it was spectacular!!!

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce
I'm trying to put my finger on this one... When I made it the night before, it had a TON of flavor, you could taste all the spices in it right as I finished cooking it and was bottling it to sit in the fridge overnight. When I took it out today and was serving it, it was missing a lot of that flavor that I tasted last night when I cooked it. Last night, it had all the sweetness and flavor you're looking in a good BBQ sauce, and then when you least expected it, it kicked you. Today, it missed a lot of that flavor. Don't know why, but it did... I'll have to try it again and see what happened (or didn't happen).

Best Carolina BBQ Meat Sauce
AWESOME!!! I made this last night for a big BBQ potluck we were having here today. I like mustard based sauces myself, so I wanted to give this a whirl. Great flavor, great kick. I might add just a hair more sweetness to it next time (like add honey). But, otherwise, it was awesome!! One other tweak I did… I didn't have the Louisiana Hot Sauce. I did have the Red Rooster sriracha sauce, and I used that instead. Figured it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference.
