Yes, I know too much salt is bad for us, but our bodies also need a small amount daily. I don't know how it works, but salt brings out the natural flavors in other foods, especially citrus fruits and drinks.I made mention to one of coworkers one day that it is very easy to make free lemonade… MORE

About Me
I have only recently started following recipes, which is why I do not bake very often... although I do enjoy it. I perfer the creative side of cooking, being able to taste test and add ingredients at my own preference.
My favorite things to cook
There are 4 things I cook that my whole family devours; Vegie Stir-fry, the Ranch Meatloaf that I got from this website, my version of St. Louis Style Pizza, and my chicken quesadillas
My favorite family cooking traditions
Both my mom and my dad make their own types of chili... I love them both for what they are worth. My mom's chili is a sweet and simple chili with only the basics: beans, meat, onions, peppers and spices. My dad's chili on the on other hand is a spicy goodness. He adds spicy peppers, potatoes, lots of beans and meat, less onion(for me), and a boat load of spices.
My cooking triumphs
My little sister is one of the pickiest eaters in the world and I made chicken quesodilla that she absolutely loved... and she doesn't even care for mexican that much.
