About this Cook
My name is Rebekah. I am the mother of 5 rowdy young kids! I love to cook new things and add my own little twist to them! I married my best friend from high school!! life gets crazy, so I cant cook the way I love... so I am working on trying to cook healthier!!
My favorite things to cook
Ohhh.... I just love to try cooking new things!!! I love any challenge!! And the more I try, the more my girls are interested in learning!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I may not be able to handle cooking with all 5 kids at one time..but its great for one on one time!! For 4th of July.. my kids and I work together to make Eagle head cookies! then around the holidays.. each kid picks out a goodie to make with me and we give out goody platters! Yummm ! but when isnt a good time to cook with the kids!! oooh and after easter we make a huge egg salad with chicken and chunks of cheese!! and after Thanksgiving we make a HUGE pot of hommade chicken noodle soup!! :) And after Huckleberry season where as a family we go picking... we make tons of stuff with those! But we always make a pie with the first fresh batch as a treat for the hard work and enjoy the fruits of our labor!!! YUMMMY

This was WONDERFULL!! It was so easy, my 6 year old made a double batch to gige to all her grandparents!! The only change we made was 1 cup of the chocolate chips was white chocolate!! All the family LOVED it and she was so proud of herself! All I did was the cutting of it at the end!!KEEPER...
