Last week there were several AR blog entries about convenience foods, grocery store woes, and the push for a "Homemade Crusade".  This really got me thinking.  Is this even possible?  Yes, the United States is the fattest country in the world.  Yes, we're unhealthy,… MORE

My family has now all seen my last blog entry on growing up on the cheap, and since they all share the hilarity of our "eclectic" upbringing, I thought I'd put a few more memories to paper, so to speak. My mother asked if I remembered the time that our Grandparents came to visit over… MORE

So it was a great week!  Had its up and downs, naturally, but for the most part last week was great.  Easter dinner on the cheap was a success, complete with lasagna, focaccia, salad, chocolate cake with fudge icing and triple berry crisp with ice cream.  No pesky dinner… MORE

I woke up this morning in a foul mood.  I was in bed with my two year old son, which is a regular occurrence these days as he's not been sleeping well and wakes up in the middle of the night screaming to wake the dead.  Anywho, this particular morning I also happened to wake up… MORE
