About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook would be desserts and anything that presents a challenge.
My favorite family cooking traditions
On Christmas morning every year, we would have those Pillsbury Orange Danish rolls. Another family tradition is for the whole family to go to one family member's house and have what we call "breakfast club" every other Sunday. The host has to cook breakfast for everyone.
My cooking triumphs
Bisquits and sausage gravey, thai chicken lettuce wraps, caramel pecan apple pie, pulled bbq pork sandwiches,
My cooking tragedies
Atlantic Salmon in the oven. It was horrible! Very fishy tasting.

Cranberry and Cilantro Quinoa Salad
I must have done something terribly wrong with this recipe, although I followed it to a "t"? The curry powder and red onions ruined it for me (and I am a huge fan of both). I would halve both of those ingredients if I decide to try this recipe again. I had to throw the entire bowl away. Dissapointed!

Berry Delicious
I have made this recipe twice now and loved it both times! It's that perfect midday snack when you're craving something sweet and sour:)

Clone of a Cinnabon
I must have done something wrong because the dough did not "double" in size, both in the breadmaker or while rising before baking? I baked for 15 minutes but they were not done when I took them out. Dough was not cooked all the way? I'm not sure what I did wrong, but will try to make again?
