Cranberry-Pineapple Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
Delicious. I loved the addition of pineapple. I did cut the amount of pineapple because I only had an 8 oz can of chunks, I put the pineapple chunks into the food processor and pulsed it a few times since I didn't have the crushed. Also I didn't measure the walnuts out but I used about 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Very tasty!

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
Yummy! I doubled the recipe and ended up with enough filling for 4 pies! I put the leftover filling in the freezer for a quick meal one night. I added some frozen peas and green beans. Also I used turkey stock, and threw in my leftover gravy from Christmas dinner, so reduced the flour a little bit. Really yummy. Kids loved it and so did my Pot Pie hating hubby :)

Twice Baked Potato Casserole With Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
Tasty casserole. I didn't use any dried chives on top and instead of baking the potatoes I just boiled them then mashed them. Brought this for Sunday dinner after church and it was a hit.

Yum! I used angel hair pasta, I like it better for these types of pasta dishes. Served with Garlic Chicken (AR) for a quick and tasty dinner

Kick'N Chicken with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2014
Great recipe. Everyone loved the chicken. Seasoning was great. This would make a great chicken sandwich. Everyone enjoyed the salsa as well. I did add a diced jalapeno for some heat. I only let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes and it really was great.

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
This was delicious. It was a nice change from the regular chili I usually make. I did take the suggestion of others and cut the broth down to 2 cups. Yummy!

Fluffy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
I love this! And so does my whole family. The only thing I do different is that I add choc. chips. We like it super chocolaty. Only down side is now I cannot drink a powdered hot cocoa mix. I tried and it was not right. Thanks Love the recipe!

Banoffee Pavlova

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
This was my first time ever having Banoffee Pavlova and I have to say Wow! I loved the flavors of this. I think next time I make it I will cut the sugar though cause both me and my son are sugar wimps and we both wanted more and were a little sad we couldn't keep eating more like everyone else! Thank you for this recipe!

This was delicious. My husband said it was amazing. I did change it a bit. I used 2 large boxes of sugar-free fat-free pudding mixes and 1/3 less fat cream cheese. It was delightful. Thanks!

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
Oh my these are amazing! I have made cinnamon rolls before but they do not even come close to these! I loved the bread and the filling and the icing! These will be my go to recipe for cinnamon rolls from now on. I only ended up with 11 rolls because I cut mine thicker than I was supposed to. I made them in the evening up to the second rise then covered them and put them in the fridge in the morning I took them out and set them on the counter while the oven was preheating and then baked. So I didn't have to get up at 3 am to make them. Also when I pulled them out of the oven I thought they were done so I iced them when I went to serve them I realized the middle was raw still. So even though I had iced them I put them back into the oven and baked for another 15 minutes and they were fine. The icing firmed up a little bit but nothing bad happened to it. So if this happens to anyone else don't throw them away! Just bake a little longer with the icing on.

Kickin' Collard Greens

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
So good. I would give it more stars if I could. Every time someone went to get seconds I really wanted to slap their hands away and say mine! They were that good. I did use the bacon grease to wilt the greens and did not use any olive oil. Also used 8 pieces of bacon for 1 1/2 pounds of greens. Will make this again.

My family liked these a lot. I didn't change any ingredients. I did bake them in the oven at 350 for 35 minutes because it was to windy to grill them.

Byrdhouse Blistered Cherry Tomatoes

Wow! These were so good and so simple. I needed an extra side for dinner and had some tomatoes I needed to use up. This was perfect. So quick which was good because I already had dinner on the table and needed a veggie. The kids loved these as well. Thanks!

Creamed Corn

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
This was very good. So very very much better than the canned stuff I grew up on. I cut the recipe in half, so for 1/4 cup butter I used 3 T flour. I added some diced onions in to the butter before I added the flour. Also I didn't have Romano cheese so I used Asiago. And because it was so hot today I skipped the baking part of the recipe, just cooked it all on the stove. Worked great. Thanks for the recipe!
