Peanut Butter Fudge I

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
Very good. It is a very soft and creamy fudge but I had no problem with it not setting up. I meant to add some chopped peanuts but I got distracted and forgot. I think the chopped peanuts would have been a really good addition but it is wonderful by itself. Great flavor. Thanks!

Dark Chocolate Cherry Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
I wasn't sure how this fudge would go over with the family, but they loved it. Creamy and delicious just like fudge should be. I did add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. And I'm very glad I did the flavors went together great. The fudge didn't last very long at the parties I took it to. Yummy!

World's Best Oreo® Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
I was making fudge trays for two parties when I came across this recipe, I chose this one because it seemed different enough and people seem to like the Cookies and Cream stuff. So glad I made this. The family loved it. And it flew of the dessert table quickly. Creamy, sweet, and fabulous. I accidentally switched the oreo amounts, put 1 cup of chopped oreo's into the fudge and sprinkled 1/2 cup on top. Didn't harm the recipe at all. Very easy to make and it set up perfectly. I did set it in the fridge as I was running short on time and didn't have time to wait for it to set at room temp. Thank you for this recipe! I'll definitely be making this again.

Butterscotch Haystacks

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
These are very easy and quick to make. Very sweet, my family was torn on whether these were good or not. I thought they were okay, 2 of my kids like them and my hubby and 1 son not so much.

Perfect Polenta Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
My family enjoyed this dressing. I wanted to try something a little different from what we usually make and came across this recipe. I had a bag of polenta in the pantry that I needed to use and this sounded good. I did have to change it a little bit. I didn't have any fresh summer savory so I subbed dried savory, I also was out of white pepper so I just used some fresh ground black pepper. I used a pound of sausage just because I didn't want the leftovers. Everyone really liked it and the only complaint was that the dried pears were to sweet, so I would probably use fresh next time. Loved the nutmeg! Thanks!

White Chip Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
These are tasty cookies. I really liked the mild orange flavor that comes through. I used a small cookie scoop and got 3 dozen cookies. Family really liked these. Only thing I would do differently is adding just a touch of vanilla. Very good.

Easy Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
I really wanted to like these. They were quick and easy to put together but they came out very dry. Also they didn't rise at all, what I put into the muffin tin is exactly what I got out of it. An egg would have made a big difference in the recipe.

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
This dough is excellent for cut outs. The cookies keep their shape and size while baking. For that I would give the recipe 5 stars. But the flavor was a little lacking. And they were very dry.

Tomato and Bacon Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
This was pretty good. The family enjoyed it. I liked that the ingredients are things I always have on hand, which came in handy tonight since I have been putting off grocery shopping. I added some garlic, and cayenne pepper. Also because it looked really dry I added a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes with garlic. Also added a little extra milk. It was still kind of dry but not bad. Thanks.

Carroty Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
Well the carrots made the rice pretty but didn't bring a lot of flavor. A little onion, and garlic would have been a good addition.

Honey Almond Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
This was tasty. Quick and easy to put together. Only thing I changed was to cut down the lemon juice just a little bit because hubby is never to thrilled with lemon juice on chicken. Thanks!

Jan's Pretzel Dogs

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
What a great idea! My family really enjoyed this. The pretzel dough is perfect. Very easy to but together. The only beer I had in the house was a Guinness so I used that. Will be making these again soon. Thanks!

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
Well this is a classic. My family loves green bean casserole so they were happy with this. I always leave out the soy sauce because the dish is salty enough with out it.

Praline-Pumpkin Mousse Cornucopias

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
Loved this! Super easy to put together but it looks and tastes like you spent a lot of time on it. We really liked the pumpkin mousse. I sprinkled cinnamon sugar on the pastry. Skipped the pecans. I would definitely make these again.

Swanson® Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Mmmm mashed potatoes. I liked the flavor the broth added to the potatoes, it's a bit expensive for an everyday thing but for special occasions I would do it again.

Moist and Savory Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
Not to bad for a quick side dish during the week but I thought this really lacked flavor. Instead of boiling the veggies I sauteed then with a little bit of butter when they were soft I added the broth. Could have used some extra seasoning but I was short on time. Gravy made it lots better :)

Ground Beef Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
We really liked this soup. I had to change it a bit based on what I had on hand. I used frozen vegetables not canned, and had to use diced tomatoes. Since I made these changes I had to add extra water and I also threw in an extra can of tomato sauce. Thanks for the recipe!
