Yogurt Parfait

I made this for the kids after school snack. Yogurt parfaits are always a hit around here. I used strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. Delicious!

Very tasty. I didn't really measure the spices just sprinkled them on. After cooking the skin is really gross so I removed it before serving. Family enjoyed this. And the juice that is left in the crockpot makes amazing gravy!

Made-Over French Toast with Spiced Pears

This was great. I used a leftover loaf of french bread and added blueberries that I needed to use up. The kids loved this and there was no need for additional syrup, Yay! I did sprinkle some powdered sugar on top to serve.

Meatloaf with Sour Cream Sauce

The meatloaf was great. I did have a problem with the sauce it was way to salty for our tastes so I thinned it out with a little bit of coffee and red wine, let it simmer until it thickened back up. It came out great. Used the extra sauce that I ended up with as a sauce for egg noodles. It was a great change from the Italian meatloaf I tend to make. I will definitely make this again.

Sauza® Raspberry Margarita

This is a very good recipe. I thought it was a tad to sweet but nothing undrinkable. My husband loved it. I used pink sugar for the rim because its pretty :) I did use Sauza Blue tequila.

Steff's Shepherd Pie

Yummy. I used frozen corn and instead of ground beef I used Johnsonville® Italian Mild Sausage Links. It was a great addition and added a little more flavor to the dish.

Hearty Minestrone

Delicious. My husband wasn't thrilled when I told him what was for dinner, he isn't a fan of minestrone but he ended up loving this recipe. I think it was the spicy Italian sausage that made him happy. I added an extra zucchini, minced garlic, and some tomato sauce that I needed to use up. Easy and quick recipe.

Garlic and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

These are really tasty little mushrooms. Easy to put together and my son loved the Italian sausage. I used baby bella mushrooms. Yum. I will definitely be making these again.

Old Fashioned Creamy Rice Pudding

This is tasty for a quick rice pudding. I couldn't get mine to thicken up very well so I sprinkled in some instant vanilla pudding. Without it the pudding was very soupy. Good flavor. Sprinkled with cinnamon and topped with whipped cream. Yum.

Easy Glazed Carrots

Yum! We love glazed carrots. I didn't use canned carrots, instead I sliced and steamed my carrots then continued on with the recipe.

Pub Peanut Muffins

These are not your typical muffin. Very dense. By themselves they don't taste very good. Really dry. However if you spread some Nutella on them? Yum. I baked them in paper cups which turned out to be a bad idea, the bottoms stuck to the paper. The sides of the muffin didn't though so we are just cutting off the bottoms.

Spaghetti Casserole III

Quick and tasty. I did use spaghetti sauce since I had a jar open in the fridge that I needed to use. This would be a great way to reserve any leftover spaghetti :)
