I absolutely LOVED this recipe. The first time I made it, I followed it exactly and I would have given it about 4 stars because it was dry & not seasoned as well as I would have liked So this time around, I made these small modifications which made it PHENOMENAL!
1) Added additional seasoning (garlic powder, fresh ground pepper, etc)
2) Before I put my chicken/veggie mixture in the pie shell, I put a thin layer of sauce, then a layer of chicken/veggie mixture, then another layer of sauce, and I kept repeating that the entire way. The first time when I just put the sauce on top, the bottom was dry, but this time, the sauce was evenly distributed all the way through and it turned out great.
3) I cooked on 375 for about 40 minutes.
