What comes to your mind when you hear about stuffed peppers?  Beef?  Cheese?  Sounds good to me!  However, with a few changes, they can be just as tasty with a few changes and very compliant with the Weight Watcher's diet. Today I will makeover "Stuffed Green Peppers I."  The… MORE

About this Cook
Am I nuts? Yes. Am I hilarious? Yes. Will I rock your socks? You betcha. Lol, so in real life, I'm an elementary music teacher who has a passion for laughter, singing, and cooking!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking with my crockpot! I make delicious soups with it that are to die for! Also, I enjoy whipping up stir-fries and all kinds of different pancakes, which are my favorite breakfast food. Yummy! Of course, I have a huge sweet tooth, so I enjoy whipping up large batches of cookies and cakes from time to time as well.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I started baking cookies with my grandma when I was in elementary school. She lives less than half a mile from my parents house and I spent tons of time over there as a kid cooking all sorts of cookies, cakes, and candies. My grandma makes all sorts of fun candies at Christmas, including peanut brittle, almond clusters, and fudge. That's my favorite tradition ;D.
My cooking triumphs
My mom often says that when I make her dishes, they somehow turn out much better than when she makes them. This is true because I know what I like to taste and I add and subtract things from recipes as I find it necessary.
My cooking tragedies
Going from an electric stove to a gas stove is quite an experience...enough said. Oh, and I also made biscotti once that no one liked. I don't think it was bad, per se, but the real problem was that there was tons of it and no one wanted to eat it. I ended up throwing a bunch of it into the cornfield next to my parents' house for composting purposes. I had such high hopes for that biscotti, so it was a very sad time indeed.

Bread Pudding II
This turned out really great! Unlike others, I didn't think it tasted good while it was hot, but once it had been in the fridge overnight… yum!

Slow Cooker Stuffing
This is really great! I made the crockpot version for Thanksgiving last year and it was great! Tonight, I made it in the oven and it was even better. The buttery bread had crispy, tasty edges. Yum! I will make it in the oven next time too! **no marjoram necessary
