Roasted Turkey, Navy Style

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
I just loved this. I did not use a whole turkey however, but as it is the New Year, I am trying to make healthier food. This fit the bill for a turkey breast. I followed the recipe exactly except for putting the salt and pepper directly on the turkey breast. Turned out very moist and flavorful. I will save the veggies and juice for a soup. Thank you so much for posting.

Best Ever Brisket

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
This was really good. It was tender and juicy. The jus was very flavorful, in fact, I have some left although the brisket is gone and I am freezing it. Wouldn't think of throwing it away. Thanks for the recipe.

Diana's Swiss Roesti Potatoes

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
These were absolutely delicious. The inside of the potato cake is so fluffy and light. The onions give a wonderful sweetness to the potatoes. I will certainly make this again. Thank you for posting.

Tracey's Culinary Adventures: Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2011
This was really good. I added some cayenne for a little heat. Put the recipe in Spark Recipes and for 4 servings it is 154 calories. For 6 servings it is 104 calories. I used a medium sized head of cauliflower, and fat free cream cheese.

Michael's Foccacia Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
This was wonderful. Very easy to make and turned out perfectly. I topped mine with Olive oil, kosher salt, sliced green stuffed olives, tomatoes from the farmer's maarket (sliced thinly) and freshly grated parmesan cheese. My neighbor came over as it was baking and loved it so much that I finished up giving her half of it. She was in heaven. Thanks for posting.

Beer Batter Deep Fried Dill Pickles

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
These are unbelievably good. I fell in love with fried pickles at the AllRecipes Southern Round up in Florida. I never thought that I would be able to make these better than the ones that I had there but this recipe does it. I was a little worried when reading the recipe beccause I always dredged my food in the flour first, then in the beer batter. This recipe calls for just the opposite. So, I compromised, I dredged in the flour then in the batter and then again in the flour. I cannot believe how crispy this batter was. Even after sitting on the table for 30 minutes or so the breading was incredibly crisp. I am going to try using this recipe on fish and shrimp to see if it will remain crisp. This is definitely my go to fried pickle recip from now on. Thank you so much for posting.

Fabulous French Loaves

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2012
This is the 2nd time that I have made this bread. I could not ask for anything better. I love this bread. It is easy to make. It rises beautifully, and I have added several flavors to the bread. The first time I made it I did the first loaf just as french bread. I did the second loaf as cheddar cheese and jalapeno. The second time, (see photo). I did the first loaf as rolls. I made six rolls. The second loaf I did mixing in chopped sun dried tomatoes and chunks of mozzarella cheese. Yum

Dry Rub Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
I just loved this rub. I have to say that I did add salt. I think that it enhances the flavor of the other ingredients. My hubby loves sauce so I put BBQ sauce on his. I ate mine with just the rub. I gave mine a 5 star rating. He gave his a 4 said that the herbs interfered with the BBQ sauce. That bein said I think that this recipe is Da Bomb. Love it and will continue to use it. Thank you so much for posting.

Essence of Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
This was a really good basic bread recipe. I was making the Paul Bunyan Burgers from this site and this bread stood up really well to the burger. Did not fall apart. Very nice. I halved the recipe and made 6 large buns out of it. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Jerry's Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
This recipe is a solid 5. Very good. I have to say that I did make a small change. I started out following the recipe exactly, and did make it exactly, however, I used Frank's Red Hot "Thick" Sauce. However, the butter separated from the sauce so I spooned out the butter and added more sauce so, if you use the Frank's Thick sauce, you can save a whole bunch of calories by not using any butter at all. Friends loved it.

Amazing Muffin Cups

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2014
Love, love, love Johnsonville sausage. These were very easy to make, did not have any problems getting them out of the muffin tin which I sprayed with non-stick spray. I love this sausage so much that I ate a ton of it before finishing the dish. Like others did I used less cheese but still had all items leftover so I just threw them all together and told my husband to eat for breakfast and I took the pretty ones to work. lol
