Breakfast Casserole in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2015
Sorry but this recipe was not for us. The hash browns were kind of watery and had a different texture. Couldn't really tell that there were a dozen eggs in it. DH said that he would rather have had scrambled eggs and sausage the traditional way. I must say though that the preparation was easy. Will probably not make again. Thanks for posting the recipe

Birdman's Marinara Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2015
This was really good. Very easy to make and stood up very well on it's own with fettuccini. Will definitely make again and will use it in lasagna, with meatballs, on sandwiches, etc. Added some shaved parmesan on top as a little addition. Thanks for posting the recipe

Sorta Blackened Chile-Rubbed Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2015
I have to say that this one was probably the best pork I have ever eaten. The cooking method made the pork so moist and tender even my hubby ate every bite and he is not a big meat eater. Will def use this method again. BTW I cooked the pork in the pan to about 130 degrees and then put in the foil to bring it up to 145. Brilliant

Chocolate Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2014
These cookies were very good. Easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception that I used butter instead of shortening. Sorry but I never use shortening. I also used Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa powder as I love the dark chocolate flavor. Did not taste much of the peanut butter flavor and not sure how to correct that. Will have to experiment a little bit.

These fries were really good. Very easy to make. I put melted butter and all other ingredients into a plastic bag and rubbed all over the potatoes. Saved washing a pan. Turned out very well.

Kicked-Up Goulash

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2014
Hubby loves these kinds of foods and really liked this one. Wasn't too crazy about the onions but I will make this for him again and leave them out. I used parmesan instead of cheddar just as a personal preference.

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2014
Just made this for some workers who are doing some repairs on our house. They went absolutely crazy for this salad. Told me not to change a thing. Two of them don't even like broccoli and after tasting went back for more. I made this exactly as stated in the recipe. Served it as a side for a Ham and Cheese quiche. Will definitely make again. Thank you

Rice and Beef Stuffed Tomatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2014
Loved, loved, loved this recipe. Must say that I substituted Johnsonville All Natural Ground Italian Sausage for the ground beef. I think that the flavor of the sausage really went well with the rest of the ingredients in this recipe. My DH said that it was better than one of his favorite meals Stuffed Bell Peppers. Will be using this recipe often.

Johnsonville Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2014
These were really yummy. I could not find the hot sausage in my store so used the Johnsonville sweet Italian sausage instead, then I substituted pepperjack cheese for the cheddar so I think that this was comparable to the original recipe. We loved these will definitely make them again.

Amazing Muffin Cups

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2014
Love, love, love Johnsonville sausage. These were very easy to make, did not have any problems getting them out of the muffin tin which I sprayed with non-stick spray. I love this sausage so much that I ate a ton of it before finishing the dish. Like others did I used less cheese but still had all items leftover so I just threw them all together and told my husband to eat for breakfast and I took the pretty ones to work. lol

Pork Carnitas with Cilantro Tomatillo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2014
Loved, loved , loved this recipe. I am a huge fan of pork so enjoyed making and eating it. Took a little longer to cook than stated but that might have been my fault in that I think that I used too much liquid. End result was still great.
