Johnsonville® Italian Sausage and Pepper Medley

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2013
We just loved this. I have to admit that this is not the first time that I have made this, we have it regularly. Love this sausage and we usually eat it as a sandwich. Tomatoes on the bottom of the bread with sausage, onions and peppers piled on top. Too yummy.

Granny Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2013
This was a good cake. Very moist. After reading the reviews I left out the cup of brown sugar and my hubby said that it was still very sweet. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Kim's Prime Rib

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2013
This rib roast turned out really, really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the marinade taste but the method of cooking was perfect. Everyone loved it. Will definitely use this again. Thanks so much for posting the recipe. As an additional note, I cooked this to 125 degrees, 45 minutes at 440 degrees and then 1 and 3/4 of an hour at 200 degrees for a 6 lb roast. I then let it sit for 30 minutes to rest. Perfectly cooked for our taste.

This was pretty good and very easy to make. I think that next time I may add a little spice to liven it up a little bit. Thanks for posting the recipe

Carly's Salmon En Papillote (In Paper)

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2013
This was a great recipe for salmon. I usually don't care for lemon with fish but this was very mild. The salmon stayed very moist and was delicious. Served it with New Potatoes with Caper Sauce from this site and we just loved it. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2013
This was a really good recipe. I must tell you that I am an AllRecipes Allstar and Brand Ambassador. We were challenged this month to take a favorite ground beef recipe and change the ground beef to Johnsonville Italian Sausage, so that is what I did with this recipe. I left out most of the breadcrumbs and used Italian Sausage pasta sauce. Wow, tons of flavor. I used egg noodles and made garlic bread. My husband went crazy. He really loved it. Thanks for the challenge. It made a great dinner.

Battered Balsamic Fish

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
Sorry but I had a couple of problems with this recipe. First, there is no way that the flour/breadcrumb mixture would stick to the fish without a binder. I whisked a whole egg, dipped the fish into flour, the egg and then into the flour/breadcrumb mixture. After doing this the fish was really good. The balsamic for me was too sweet to serve with fish. I felt and tasted that the dish needed more acidity. Thanks for posting your recipe.

Shrimp Primavera with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2013
We liked this. I would have preferred that the sauce be a little thicker as the pasta just tended to swim in it. Next time I will thicken up the sauce. Thanks for posting.

English Crumpets

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2013
These were okay. Turned out very doughy. I tried different cooking temperatures, but it did not seem to make a difference. I think that I may play with this recipe a little bit to see if I can get the right consistency. Thanks for posting.

Oysters 'n' Bacon

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2013
Sorry but this did not work for us. The sauce was so overpowering that there is no way that we could taste the oyster. I also thought that the oven temperature and timing were off. After 10 minutes I turned the oven up to 375 and cooked for an additional 5 minutes, and I used small oysters. Thanks for posting.

Diane's Beef Stroganoff

Everyone liked this but most said just a little too much Worcestershire sauce. I made this exactly as written except that I used fresh mushrooms and added 1 cup of beef broth in place of the canned mushroom juice. Thanks for posting the recipe.
