Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
Delicious! Fixed these tonight on the grill and they were excellent. What I love about this recipe is that I had everything already - just a simple marinade and these chops were ready to grill. Yum!

PB's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
It was really delicious! My 14-year old ate THREE Sloppy Joes, my husband ate one open-faced Sloppy Joe (which is probably the equivalent of TWO) and I ate one. The only complaint that my husband had was that they were a bit dry. Next time, I think I will add a 5-ounce can of tomato sauce and increase the amount of spices so that the flavor isn't diluted.

PB's Amish Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2013
Fixed this tonight for my family. It didn't make sense to me to use Cream of Chicken soup with a beef casserole, so I added an 8-ounce can of tomato sauce instead. The casserole was dry, so if I try it again, will use a can of Cream of Celery. That makes more sense than Cream of Chicken. Also, I'm not a huge fan of American cheese but my guys are, so they really liked the cheese. Next time, I think I'll use Cheddar.

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2012
Made this the other night for my family and it was so good! This my first time making the dish, so I didn't change anything. I decided to double the recipe since my husband had been craving this and I'm really glad that I did. He enjoyed it a LOT!

Ricotta Cookies III

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
It was very easy to follow, directions were clear. Cookies are incredible! The only thing I did differently was instead of using VANILLA extract in the cookies, I used LEMON extract. I'm diabetic so can't have the cookies with the frosting, so I wanted to enjoy the lemony taste. My hubby had some frosted cookies and he loves them.

Baked Dijon & Walnut Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
Delicious - my two guys and I loved it. I ran into a problem, though - one that a newbie makes LOL I didn't have any pecans and didn't want to run to the store. Luckily, I had a bag of walnuts in the freezer and so I used them. The fish turned out perfect!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
Delicious! The only thing I did differently was mush up the bananas a bit more; the original recipe said to slice them. It was moist and delicious! I think that the sour cream really did the trick.

Pasta e Olio

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
Yum - this is the easy and fast and delicious way to create a family meal. I left out the red pepper flakes, since my son and I don't do hot stuff. It's easy to let my husband add those at the table. And of course, we love grated parmesan cheese. I think next time, I might add some sliced roma tomatoes and fresh basil.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Very good. I changed the recipe around by using pork shoulder instead of a pork tenderloin and added an extra bottle of root beer. Very delicious!

Chicken Bog

I had high hopes for this, but it just wasn't what I hoped it would be. Neither my husband (not a picky eater) or my son (a picky eater) enjoyed it. Sorry!

Tried these cookies with high expectations. They were dry! I was very disappointed. If I make them again, I'll try adding more oil...
