Lemon Curd

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
This was GREAT! I made during the holidays to use between the layers and on top of a cake after buying a jar at the store - immediately knew I didn't what "that" on my cake. This was so good my kids were eating the leftovers right out of the bowl. Now all I can do is think of what I can use Lemon Curd with. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Fresh Strawberry Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
Cool, fresh, and tasty best describes this pie. Was in a pinch for a quick dessert when one of my sons announced he had invited someone to dinner. Very basic ingredients that are usually always on hand. Turned out perfect and didn't last through the night. Can't wait until strawberry season so I can make again. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent and easy. My only mistake I should have pounded my chicken out thinner.

Jagerschnitzel

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
Spent 3 years in Germany and don't remember Jagerschnitzel like this. The meat its self was fine but didn't care for the gravy at all. Make use as a base but will try a different gravy recipe.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
Best potato salad I've ever made or ever eaten. Made a triple batch for our Memorial Day cook out and to my dismay, had no leftovers for me to enjoy later. A definite keeper....thanks for sharing.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
I made these for our Memorial Day cookout and they were absolutely wonderful. Easy to prepare, quick to cook and makes a beautiful, eye-appealing meal. Everyone at the cook-out loved them, including the kids. I also used the thinner bacon as suggested in previous reviews.

Flaky and Tasty Pastry

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
Don't know what went wrong but I've tried the recipe twice and both times it came out just a big gooey glob. To get it into any type of rolling consistency, I would have had to add so much additional flour it would have tasted awful and had the texture of something similar to plywood. Just a lot of wasted time and ingredients. Think I'll stick with what I've got and used for years.

Gary's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
These were okay; a little bland and needed something to add a little zing. The cream cheese was almost over powering. Had way too much stuffing for the mushrooms called for. Could have made sever dozen more with what I had left over. May make again but with some modifications.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
This is excellent. I have made several times for kid's parties and while the kids enjoy it the grown ups love it. I made for a Halloween party and used Halloween cookie cutters to cut out the chips. Anytime there is a party at our house, everyone now expects this dish to be served. I have never had any left overs,

This is an outstanding bread recipe. I have used no other recipe since discovering this one. Turns out perfect every time. So easy to make it has become our standard white bread around the house. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.

Golden Wedding Punch

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2006
Excellent punch. Made this last year for our annual Halloween Party. Served it in a large black cauldron and told the kid's it was "witch's pee". I made a double batch and only had about a quart left over. Will make again this Halloween. Thanks for sharing.

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2006
Great recipe! My entire family loves these. I've cooked many times for dinner and have passed this one on to several friends. Last year I cut the chicken into nuggets prior to cooking and served them at our annual Halloween Party. After they were cooked and drained, I placed half in a large covered bowl and poured some warmed BBQ sauce over them - covered and shook them to coat. They were a big hit awith both the adults and children. People have already asked if I'm serving them again this year. A definate keeper....thanks for sharing.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2004
This was one of the easiest and best tasting slow cooker pot roast I have ever had. I made this while I was at home on my R&R leave from Iraq. I wanted to cook good "home cooked" meals for my husband and 3 sons but didn't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. This recipe really fit the bill. It was so delicious and easy to make I left the recipe with my husband so he could fix it until I return home. WONDERFUL RECIPE. Thanks for sharing.
