About this Cook
I was born and raised in the little rural town of Dover, PA. I got tired of the snow and the lack of decent paying jobs and moved, to Phoenix Arizona. Now I’m living it up in the sun; however sometimes the sun is depressing, but way better than snow! I love and miss my family, even though they are hundreds of miles away we still keep in touch.
My favorite things to cook
I love making anything sweet and delicious! I also like to make anything that tastes good and is quick and easy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Eating and being happy.
My cooking triumphs
I’m just happy when something I make turns out right and tastes delicious!
My cooking tragedies
Setting the smoke alarm off while making fried chicken! Nothing was even burning!

Banana Banana Bread
This banana bread is awesome! I love how I can actually taste the banana and not a bunch of spices and sugar. I follow the directions exactly (used a little less banana) and it turned out great. It is perfect heat up in the micro for a quick breakfast. I will make again and again!

Peach Pie
This was great! I used 10 really fresh peaches and it turned out great. I did not need to add cornstarch as some suggested, I just let it sit in the oven after baking. I did add cinnamon and used 1/2 white, 1/2 brown sugars. After peeling and slicing the peaches, it was an easy pie to make!

Coconut (Haupia) and Chocolate Pie
I made this for a Christmas potluck at work and it was a huge hit! I used a pre-made graham cracker crust (b/c I'm lazy). I also toasted some coconut to put on top. This was actually easy to make and tasted great!! I will make again!
