Mom's Best Waffles

I did not care for this recipe. Batter was way too thin. It never bakes up in the waffle iron to fill the voids, ending up looking like a mess. I tried this recipe to save some time, as I usually make the Belgian Waffle recipe on this site. I didn't want to wait for the yeast to rise, but all this accomplished was wasting time and ingredients.

Chocolate Cream Puff Swans

Made a double batch of these. They were super easy. I was new at piping out dough in this fashion, so I want sure just how much to do. I could have made the bodies larger, but they worked out great still. I ended up with a lot of extra ganache and whipped cream, but that is likely because I didn't make big enough swans. I'd hardly call having extra chocolate and whipped cream in the house a problem, though. Assembly was simple and in the end made for a big hit at dessert. I will do again! Also I don't have silicone mats, so used parchment and had no problems at all.

Great recipe! It's become a Sunday morning tradition in my house. Kids love em. I usually add some fruit filling like banana or apple, and a touch more sugar. Also, it makes WAY more than 30. More like 45-50.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Great recipe. My family loved it. I used 2 1 lb-ish tenderloins that came pre-marinated. One was teriyaki, one was peppercorn. The peppercorn one came out very spicy, but the teriyaki was great. I'll either use that one again, or go with non-marinated. Excellent!

Grilled Ham Steak

Excellent. Used orange juice instead of lemon, as thats what I had on hand. Also used it on pork chops. Came out wonderful. Will definitely make again...maybe follow the recipe this time.
