Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: May 3, 2012
HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! Don' even bother to make just one batch! In my convection oven, these did take longer to reach perfection 19 min cooking time! But so fabulous and totally reproducible! Follow the recipe to the letter and you will get the same results each time!

I made one error- USE EITHER 1 cup of bittersweet chips and 1 cup of milk choc chips OR 2 cups of semisweet- whatever your combination just make it TOTAL 2 cups!!! these are HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! Don' even bother to make just one batch! In my convection oven, these did take longer to reach perfection 19 min cooking time! But so fabulous and totally reproducible! Follow the recipe to the letter and you will get the same results each time!

made it just as directed (except for using low sodium soy sauce instead)- came out fantastic! The sauce made was so delicious over mashed potatoes! A perfect slow-cooker meal!

I have tried this as a marinade AND as a pan-cooked meal, BOTH are unbelievably delicious! It works with pork or chicken and is a favorite in my house and with my guests!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
this was a fantastic roast accompanyment! I made a few slight changes- I used 3 minced shallots and cooked them in the butter and omitted the onion that the recipe called for to mellow out the onion aspect. I used 1 cup of sharp cheddar and 1/2 cup of mild cheddar/monterey blend shredded cheese and it was the hit of the dinner! I will definitely repeat this one again!
