Three Cheese Baked Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
Turned out great! I used whole wheat penne pasta with a traditional marinara that I added some garlic and onion seasonings to. In addition to the chopped onion, I also chopped a fresh tomato to add in. I got a bag of Kraft Philadelphia Italian cheese mixture to add in with the parmesan. We made ours without the meat.

Cream Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
Great base for a pie. If you have any LorAnn's Gourmet flavoring oils you could easily make this pie into anything you desire. I was going to add some cinnamon like most previous reviewers suggested but then I had an idea to 1/3 cup liquid Chai concentrate. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of saigon cinnamon. Great to add fresh whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel on top! Very easy!

Puppy Chow I

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
I never made or had anything like this before. My friend came over a few days ago with a bag of this puppy chow for me. She gave me the recipe but I decided to check it out on AllRecipe and this is the same exact recipe she used. It turned out fantastic! I used a box of Crispix instead of Chex. A full size box of Crispix is 12 ounces but that was more than enough cereal for this recipe.

Old Fashioned Hard Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
This was a super simple, easy recipe. My first time making hard candy and it worked! I made mine into cherry suckers using LorAnn's Gourmet Cherry flavoring oil. I poured candy into Wilton candy moulds.

Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
Fantastic recipe! I used milk in place of water, but this is a perfect recipe. Great for ice cream or just to keep in the fridge as a snack. :)

Eggless Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Overall this was a great recipe. I made a full batch and the only hitch was it was dry and I needed to add extra water and I also added some olive oil as well. It finally stopped crumbling and came together nicely after requiring additional liquids. I had some frozen basil cubes from Trader Joes than I mixed into the pasta while kneading. I will make this again.

Eggnog Latte

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
Delicious! I actually do not like eggnog, but I thought it would be okay mixed in a latte so I bought Pumpkin Eggnog. It was very thick and creamy and the pumpkn eggnog latte tasted more like a Pumpkin Spice Latte that many people love. Added some homemade whipped cream on top!

Boardwalk Quality Maple Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Best. Fudge. Ever! Seriously, this stuff is amazing! I got the idea from another who made this recipe to use some candy cup papers and I used a small cookie scoop to measure fudge into each cup. The papers peel off easily and you have perfect looking and even tastier fudge! I added some vanilla butternut in place of maple extract. I made a large batch to package up for the bake sale at my daughter's elementary school Halloween Carnival. Huge hit and my go-to recipe! :)

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Slices

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
I cut the recipe in half using the recipe calculator feature and used some brown sugar as many of the other reviewers did. This was okay....my husband picked at it and didn't care for it so much.

Caramel Cream Swirl Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
I never made hot chocolate like this before, but I came across the recipe using the Dinner Spinner App on my iPhone. I cut the milk back by 1/2 cup but followed the recipe otherwise. It makes a great tasting basic hot chocolate.

Easy Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
This turned out to be easy as promised and pretty tasty. I had to adapt this recipe since I don't have miso paste and I am not sure what that is. I added some corn starch in it's place to ensure the gravy woulf thicken. I added some garlic and onion spices to give it great flavor.

Chocolate Banana Milkshake

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
This milkshake has a great balance of milk to ice cream and I like the half of a banana so it doesn't become too overpowering. I used Carnation regular malted milk powder instead of Ovaltine, but I added 1 Tablespoon Dutch Pressed Cocoa Powder. I topped mine with homemade whipped cream.

Zucchini Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
I thought this was a good mix, I might add more veggie mixture to it next time. The only thing I left out was the cornflakes and celery flakes. I really enjoy these types of pasta dishes!

Mocha Punch

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
This does taste like a chilled cappuccino. I scaled this down to 4 servings since it was just me wanting to try this out. I made this with brewed espresso and instead of adding ice cream to the top, I put everything into a blender and blended it. When I make this on a large scale for a party, I will likely blend most of it in a blender and just add a few scoops to the top. There is a great balance of coffee to chocolate.

Mexican Mocha Mix

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
This turned out very well! I cut the recipe in half to try it out. I have some non-fat dry milk powder to use up, so I am going to make more after tasting this! The only change is I added more cinnamon than the recipe calls for. Awesome!

Mango-Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
Great easy to make smoothie! Perfect mix of both mango and banana. The only chnage I made was I used one packet (1/2 Cup) frozen mango puree which Trader joes sells in the frozen food section.
