Best Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: May 30, 2004
This have become a family favorite. We like things spicy so I chopped a little green jalapeño pepper into it and a few drops of tabasco. It was a definite hit!

This recipe was at hit with my family and co-workers! I did make extra sauce but next time I'll make even more because it was so delicious! Ground turkey works great!

Authentic German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
Very tasty! I thought it was a little greasy so maybe next time I'll broil my bacon and fry the onions in a little olive oil. Other than that it was very good!

Persian Shish Kabob

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
This was a great recipe! I made it using ground beef and shaped it around the skewer kind of sausage-like and then grilled it. I also tried it with ground chicken. So yummy!

Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2006
Tweaked the recipe a little to give it bold, mouth-watering flavor and it turned out amazing! Added 3 (or 4?) garlic cubes to oil before sauteeing bite size chicken pieces. Added two cans of diced tomatoes with peppers and a pinch of oregano and simmered for about 5 min before adding MARINATED artichoke from a jar (makes a difference), regular pesto, and sun-dried tomato strips. Added chicken to sauce and tossed with penne. We absolutely loved it!

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
This was an awesome recipe! I cooked it in the Showtime rotisserie and it worked great! My only contribution was that I made twice the rub to make sure there was enough for the whole roast and and I put sprigs of Rosemary under the twine I used to tie it so that for flavor as it was turning on the spit rod. It was absolutely beautiful with the glaze. I'm going to use the glaze for other it meats, it was so delish!

Yummy! Thanks for the fast, easy, and tasty recipe. The only complaint I got was that I didn't make enough!

Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Deilicous! I didn't measure the maple syrup, just kind of tasted it as I poured and didn't need the milk. It was soooo yummy and I got rave reviews at Thanksgiving! Thanks!

Flatlander Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This is a really great recipe. I've made it a few times substituting ground turkey or vegetarian crumbles for ground beef. I usually kick up the heat a little by adding chopped green serrano chili. I also add just a drop of vinegar for a little tang. This is a keeper.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
This is a great recipe! I've made it several times and have always received rave reviews. You know to cut back on the salt and add garam masala. The chicken is so tasty you can just use the marinade recipe for grilling if you don't want to make the sauce. I love it both ways! Thanks for the recipe. It's fabulous!

Great recipe! I doubled it and my family loved it so much that there were no leftovers! Can't wait to make it again. Served it with basmati rice and fresh naan.

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
I really loved this recipe! I followed it almost as written except that I added two carrots instead of one. Next time I'll peel the potatoes first to avoid tiny potato skin flecks but the flavor was great! Served with sliced warm French bread. Yum!

Gourmet Thai Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2014
This was a great recipe with a lot of flavor. I actually marinated the chicken breast in garlic, lemongrass, ginger, salt and a little vegetable oil. I didn't have chili oil so I tried to improvise by adding a little chili powder into sesame oil. It worked, but I'll try it the other way in the future. I topped it with shredded carrots, cilantro, and squeezed lime juice on my slice. Super duper! I think a sprinkling of chopped toasted peanuts would be spectacular! Maybe next time!
