Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2014
These were amazing!! I made them exactly as the recipe called except I used my "Perfect Brownie" pan which is longer than a square pan. They came out thin, but with the frosting were still soft and chewy and PERFECT. No reason to buy a mix anymore.

Fantastic Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: May 16, 2013
I LOVE this recipe. Have made it several times. Try not to be too heavy on the Red Wine Vinegar though, it is powerful! I also use less turkey than called for (about half). You can even cut it in smaller portions when preparing and it simmers and tastes just the same. :)

Split Pea Soup with Rosemary

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2013
Extremely Tasty Soup! The only thing different was that I forgot the Rosemary and it still came out real delicious! I will make again tomorrow (after a few weeks since I've first made it) and will keep it as a normal recipe in my collection.

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
Yummy! I only used half a pound of beef and used all the other ingredients with the same specifications used for a whole pound (except I cut the red pepper flakes to 1/2 and used olive oil instead of the sesame & peanut, totaling only 1.5 tbsp [1 tbsp for marinade & 1/2 tbsp for sauteeing the green onions]). I think if I would have used the same amount of sauce for a pound of meat, it would not have been enough flavor. The flavor is amazing for 1/2 lb!! WILL MAKE AGAIN!!

Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
Not the same as regular muffins, by far. They were way to grainy. I love whole grains, but this was overkill. I even added streusel on top and it just wasn't tasty. I may try to find a recipe without wheat bran...or at least less.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Very moist! I had to adjust the recipe to do only 2 chops (without the help of the nifty calculate button). It stilled turned out fantastic! I've never had such moist pork chops without oil!
