Thin Spaghetti with Garlic, Red Pepper and Olive Oil

While it was easy and simple to put together, my family just did not care for it. They do not like the Barilla Plus pasta and thought it would be better with just regular Barilla pasta. My husband wanted more garlic and my daughter thought the noodles were just bland. If I did this again, I would definately add more garlic, more cheese and perhaps some cooked proscuitto.

Elbows Mac and Cheese with Tuscan Herb Sauce

Excellent! I was exhausted from work and needed something I could put together in a flash. This fit the bill! Fontina is a favorite cheese and the Tuscan sauce was fresh and delicious. Thanks, Barilla!

Wavy Lasagna with Meat Sauce, Fresh Ricotta and Spinach

What a wonderful, simple and light recipe! My family really enjoyed it- and they are lasagna snobs! Mom has spoiled them with lasagna that takes hours to make and this was a nice, quick version of my own! Thanks, Barilla!!

Baked Ziti with Cheese

This was wonderful. It is a bit labor intensive as it takes three sauce pans to make but the end results are worth it. We served it with some fresh chopped parsley/basil combo on top and my family was raving. Be sure to have hot water ready to do the dishes as the cheese will bake on tight! Delicious.. thanks, Barilla!

Spinach Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

This was just wonderful! We had to add a little more flour to make the dough work just because it is so humid here right now. Plus, our spinach took about two squeezes to get close to being dry. One tip- measure the wine carefully. 3 Tablespoons is about 1/4 cup- we figured wrong and added almost a half cup so our sauce was thin. This was our fault but we added more gorg. cheese and it was fine. What a great recipe.. thank you so much!!

Brenda's Italian Style Patties

Wonderful recipe! We really enjoyed these. When I make them next time, I would recommend a couple things. Since there is so much fat in the beef and pepperoni, the pan should be drained about 1/2 way into the cooking. Also, our cheese burned a bit on top- which might be due to our crappy oven! Perhaps bake for the first half without the cheese, then add the cheese during the second half on top. Great recipe.. will make again and again.

Pork Carnitas with Cilantro Tomatillo Sauce

Fantastic dish! Super easy and delicious to make. Giving it a four because I made this as the recipe dictated and would do a couple things different in the future. First, I would use flour tortillas. Even warmed, the corn tortillas were icky. Second, I think I will shred or smaller cube the pork so it might stretch further. The salsa was really good- first time eating tomatillos raw and not roasted first. Thanks, Mazola!

Sesame Beef

Absolutely fantastic made AS IS. There is no need for all these changes- try the recipe as written- it is absolutely delicious! I doubled it (I have two teens!) and it was scarfed down. Hubby saved some for work the next day and continued to rave about it. I marinated it for about an hour and it was just great!! Reminded me a bit of bulgogi.

Bowties with Italian Sausage in a Cream Basil Sauce

This was wonderful. Followed the recipe to a T and it turned out fabulous!! My teenage son ate three helpings at dinner, then had it for lunch the next day cold. I suggest you try it as written and not make alterations.. it is soo good!! Thanks, Johnsonville!

Confetti Beef Taco Salad

Absolutely delicious! My family gobbled this up. I gave it four stars as I made it as is and I think next time I might add some chopped cilantro and perhaps some taco sauce for a little more punch. Crema Fresca would be good too. This is a definite keeper!

Korean Salad

Thank you for sharing this! My rating is based on the dressing alone because I feel the salad can be whatever you want and it would still taste great. We used mixed spinach greens, tomatoes and red onion. I did add the bacon on top and although I cooked the eggs, I was busy and forgot to add them! I will definately make this again! (BTW.. my kids won't touch raw mushrooms so even if I had them, I would not have added them).

Garlic Mustard Ground Beef

My star rating is based on making the recipe as stated. I tasted it and had several members of my household taste it and while we found it good, it lacked something. It became a four, almost a five, after I added some salt, a bit more soy sauce and some sesame oil. Instead of rice, I used orzo pasta and mixed into the mixture. The children really enjoyed it and with my additions, I would make this again. Thank you for a great new ground beef recipe!

Kale Caesar with Cucumbers and Leeks

This was out of this world, mostly due to the dressing. My family gobbled it up and looked for more. Do not let the anchovy paste throw you. The little bit this calls for is more then enough and really packs a flavor punch. A definite keeper.. the kale cooked up beautifully. Some salt and pepper while its cooking would add some additional flavor. Thanks for sharing!

Beef and Sausage Fried Wontons

These were a bit labor intensive but certainly worth the end result. After trying them, I think next time I will cut back on the five spice just a tiny bit. The cinnamon flavor was overwhelming in the sense we are used to more savory wontons then sweet. I was also worried the beef mixture would be raw but it cooks up just fine and there is no excess grease. Overall, a real winner with my gang!

Johnsonville Easy Sausage Pizza

I made this for my husband and once again, the sausage was a stand out. We don't like green peppers in this house, so normally I add yellow for him and red onion. I wanted to try and stay as true to this recipe as possible so I just made it with the sausage. On its own, it was lonely. Next time, I will make sure to have his red onion and yellow pepper and I think this would be outstanding!

Johnsonville® One-Pan Italian

This truly was wonderful. I almost screwed it up because I didn't read the recipe closely and made a whole pound of pasta.. but in the end it was saved by my pulling out half of it. The dish itself is so tasty (the sausage has so much flavor.. unbelievable!) and we also used Prego Traditional sauce. Thanks so much.. will make this again and again and again!!

Simple Garlic Dip

Quite good! When made as listed, I found it to be just a tiny bit too thin. I think if I make this again, I will either lessen the milk or add in more mayo. We also used it on salad as a dressing and it was really good! If you are a garlic lover, you will love this!

Beef Mac Casserole

This was really tastey. My family enjoyed it and especially the added pop of flavor from the pepperoni. It was easy to put together and the sauce alone could be used just as a pasta sauce on its own. We added a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese for some extra zest. Definitely a keeper!

Leek, Bacon, and Pasta

Really wonderful taste! The addition of the sourcream was a major plus.. and surprise! My kids gobbled it up! I left out the mushrooms (which would have made it much richer) only because I have a few in my house who turn their noses up at them.. something for more of an adult palette! Thank you for the recipe!
